Long story short, Danny Stoddard Danny Stoddard 6’1″ | 190 lbs | QB Medina | 2024 State OH should be on the radar of every major college program. Putting up video game numbers as a junior, Stoddard tossed for more than 5,000 yards and 58 touchdowns as a junior to lead the nation in passing yards. Stoddard can use every inch of the field when making a throw while displaying a degree of precision. While he gets most of his production out of his arm, Stoddard can throw well on the run to keep plays alive, but pull the ball down when he needs to and make defenders miss in space. At 6’2 and 185 lbs, Stoddard has the stature of a Div. I quarterback and displays elite decision making skills in the pocket. His tight throws fit into small windows that only his receivers can pull in. Stoddard’s junior season highlight film plays like a top plays reel that just keep on going. Stoddard is a multi-sport athlete also spending time on the baseball diamond and has been clocked at throwing 88 mph. Still keeping a focus on football, Stoddard has been seeing a noted quarterback coach to keep improving his mechanics this offseason with his recruitment still fully open.

Highlights
Mikey Maloney Mikey Maloney 6’0″ | 190 lbs | QB Painesville Riverside | 2024 State OH is a gamer at the quarterback position that can thrive with his high football IQ. A dual-threat quarterback, Maloney goes through his progressions efficiently and can make big plays with his arm. Showing great mobility in the pocket, Maloney extends plays behind the line of scrimmage while keeping his eyes down the field looking for an open receiver. He is quick to make the best decision in the RPO to get the most yardage possible. When Maloney does decide to tuck the ball and run, he uses all of his 4.5 speed to gain ground and move the sticks. Maloney has superior arm rotation to launch the ball deep and find his receiver in stride. His grind in the weight room sets the tone of leadership on and off the field where he puts up impressive numbers in squat and deadlift. Maloney has been busy of late visiting Toledo and a number of Div. II schools, but no doubt he will gain even more looks in his senior year.

A one-cut back with good acceleration and deceptive speed, Blake Ewert Blake Ewert 6’0″ | 190 lbs | RB South Range | 2024 State OH is a downhill runner with good instincts behind his blockers. The gem of a state championship offense, Ewert shows good patience behind his offensive line and can get into the second level in a hurry. His speed in open space impresses as he gains separation and can score quickly. His compact size gives him good balance and can absorb hits while keeping his feet going to gain more yardage. Ewert shows no hesitation when a hole opens and accelerates hard to get the most out of each opportunity. Ewert earns his role by putting in the hard yards with each carry he gets and rushed for over 1,000 yards last season. With more carries in his senior year, Ewert’s production should yield even bigger numbers.

A vertical threat with game-changing speed, Jamal Jefferson Jamal Jefferson 6’0″ | 175 lbs | DB Euclid | 2024 OH is a skilled receiver that can make defenders miss and can turn routine plays into points. Able to make difficult catches in traffic, Jefferson challenges defensive backs late in his routes. His ability to run tight routes and hit hard stutter-steps make him able to catch flat-footed defenders whiffing and turn on the jets. In space, Jefferson is elusive with his juke move and uses his 4.41 40-yard dash speed to leave defenders behind him. He does an equally impressive job playing cornerback and can provide tight coverage against talented opposition. A 3-star athlete, Jefferson has an offer from Purdue and interest from a number of MAC schools. This offseason, Jefferson has been working on his speed on the track and producing big results. With his recruitment fully open, Jefferson has been getting out to camps and building his resume to be a big time college wide receiver.
