NORTH DAKOTA-- The unleashing of our Dakotas 2024 rankings started yesterday at Prep Redzone Dakotas when we brought out both Dakotas new and improved state rankings, which can be found for North Dakota. With the rankings split between the two states, we had to dive deeper with our analysis with who were the stockrisers that benefited the most from their skillsets by state, and we felt these 10 stockrisers passed the eye test with their rising stock from our last 2022 update we did in the Dakotas.

[player_tooltip player_id='447265' first='Noah' last='Olson'], ATH, West Fargo Sheyenne (2024) Twitter

It's time to meet North Dakota's #1 athlete in the 2024 class rankings, West Fargo Sheyenne's [player_tooltip player_id='447265' first='Noah' last='Olson'].

Noah shows off a very quick trigger with his 6'2 185 pound frame off the snap, as he shows a ton of fire in his lower body to engage quickly on his routes and shows off some smooth traits of skillsets when he gets his hands on the football. Noah also has a quite high football IQ from either safety spot, as one that will crowd the inside box with his elite field instincts and loaded up physicality on every hit inside or outside. He shows off some open hips as well which contribute to his great range in pass coverage.

Position wise, I believe Noah's best next-level fit shows off as a free safety at the college-level and one that should certainly see some D1/D2 interest coming his way this summer with how well-versed his junior tape shows out as a top 10 prospect in North Dakota.

[player_tooltip player_id='365335' first='Kaden' last='Christmann'], ATH, Fargo Shanley (2024) Twitter

Kaden very much got on my radar during the Deacons massive win over Fargo South during the 2022 regular season, where he blew up the return game for Fargo Shanley with his well-balanced vision and burst. He checks in as the #2 athlete in North Dakota's 2024 rankings.

When you get the chance to watch his tape in the 2022 state championship, you see the versatile threat this really kid is on both sides of the ball, as he showed off tremendous two-way versatility as a twitchy slot wide receiver and a middle linebacker that can pack a well-versed pop as a tackler for the Deacons.

Kaden is also one of the most hard-working prospects in the Fargo area and has to offer no matter where or which side of the football field he is. He will be the first man downfield on special teams as a gunner, he shows off great patience on letting the play develop on both sides of the ball, and is a super high character prospect. He logged nearly 800 all-purpose yards as a junior with seven touchdowns. I will be enlightened on where college coaches position this young man at camps this summer

[player_tooltip player_id='289678' first='Jim' last='Miller'], ATH, Fargo North (2024) Twitter

If there is a prospect with the most positional flexibility on this list, it would be Fargo North's [player_tooltip player_id='289678' first='Jim' last='Miller'] who checks in as the #5 ranked athlete in the Roughrider State.

His best fit in my eyes comes in with the outside linebacker spot, as he has some well-seen physicality and awareness especially in crunch-time situations (watch just inside the 30 sec mark) as he puts all of his 6'0 200 pound frame to work with great contained physicality on his tackles. Jim has some really consistent strength with his blocks at fullback, and also shows some upside as a pass-catcher out of the backfield that will get you those hard-nosed yards when you just need a few for that first down.

Jim in my eyes, might be the most under the radar prospect on this list of stockrisers due to his versatility I see on tape. As a second team All-Stater in the 2022 season, I would love to see what this kid can do at prospect camps this summer to raise his stock.

[player_tooltip player_id='237983' first='Travon' last='Littlefield'] ,OL/DL, Dickinson (2024) Twitter

From when I got my first look on Travon over a year ago, he showed off just how aggressive he is with his hands and now on his most recent tape, he has brought out those hands consistently more on the defensive line as well with his well-seen 6'1 235 pound frame.

Travon has also grown a ton with his bend from my last look, as he shows off a deeper stance off the top of the snap which allows him to get well-under the pads of his defender to be able to drive block with a ton of good leverage. Travon also shows off a OL/DL prospect with some position flexibility on both sides of the line as we didn't even have his defensive end position on tape from our last evaluation.

Travon has rose his stock since the last 2024 update, but I could certainly see this kid catching some eyes at the FCS/D2 level this summer and rising even higher after camps wrap up in July as an untapped area for North Dakota talent. Will need to get a junior highlight tape posted to gauge more eyes.

[player_tooltip player_id='416960' first='Race' last='Wilson'], RB, West Fargo Sheyenne (2024) Twitter

Race checks into our new and improved North Dakota 2024 rankings in the #28 spot. I am a big fan of how elusive of a running back this young man is with his fluid change of direction he shows off.

I also like watching Race's awareness, especially around the edges of the field as you can read into his football IQ off the snap with his positioning of getting the pitch from his quarterback as he shows some smooth athletic awareness especially with his quick trigger out of the backfield.

Race is also much more durable than you will see on tape in his 5'11 175 pound frame, as he does a great job of getting out on the inside box and not allowing the defense to take him low off first contact. Race will be one to watch out this summer at camps, as I believe his versatility show off a college football future.

[player_tooltip player_id='316616' first='Tyler' last='Cruchet'], DL, Central Cass (2024) Twitter

Tyler is another Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase alum, that significantly rose his stock from our last update as our #7 ranked defensive line in North Dakota.

I love the longevity Tyler plays with in his 6'0 225 pound frame, as don't be surprised to see on either side of the ball this young man making it up the field to throw a key block or chase down a ball carrier beyond the second level of the field. I also like Tyler's flexibility with his bend on the offensive side of the ball to get well-under the pads of his defender with a strong punch in mouth.

Tyler also has some swift moves off the snap that show off some sizable agility as those swift hands should be shown off well at summer prospect camps this summer. I can tell certainly Tyler has been working in the weight room since we saw him this winter as he's added some significant frame with his verifiable 4.8 speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='533095' first='Cris' last='Peppard'], WR, Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood (2024) Twitter

Cris moved up to #65 overall in our North Dakota 2024 class rankings. Cris came out to our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase this winter in Aberdeen, and I think an underestimated skillset this kid has is his length. Although he's somewhat raw, that 6'1 size he brings to the table can stretch the field with his longer strides especially when he uses his vision in the open field.

He also shows off an impressive turn in his body to adjust to the football when it's slightly off his line. Cris's best routes in my eyes come out of the backfield, as he is the man that gets missed on intermediate routes, that gets over the top of the secondary and still when needed, can make catches with his solid hands in higher-traffic areas.

Cris is another prospect that has some position versatility, as when that vision is in full-attack mode, he uses it to his advantage in my eyes. A small town prospect that needs to be on more college football radars.

[player_tooltip player_id='77499' first='Matt' last='Goodman'], OL, Williston (2024) Twitter

Matt checks in the #62 overall spot for North Dakota's 2024 class. Matt plays way tougher on tape than his 6'0 220 pound measurables will show off to you, as this young man is a OL prospect that you can assure will block until that whistle blows and shows off some great pad-level on the reps I got to watch out of him.

Matt is also a OL prospect that has some position flexibility and can play the guard or tackle spot, as I love watching the physicality with Matt's leverage he can get from either spot at the next-level as he consistently can drive block into the second level.

When I got the chance, to watch him pull-block from the guard position on tape, I liked how quick Matt got up out of stance. Would love to watch him develop this summer on his technique as an angle blocker, although his pad level passes my eye test. Matt should be another prospect on this list that smaller schools should have on their recruiting board, as I believe you see on tape a hard-worker that you can certainly add some frame to in a next-level weight room.

[player_tooltip player_id='294154' first='Logan' last='Conklin'], WR, Minot (2024) Twitter

An early Division II offer from his hometown Minot State Beavers, is what caught my eyes regarding our #8 ranked prospect in North Dakota. At 6'4 175 pounds, Logan shows off on tape a much stronger twitch on his routes than you would expect from a WR prospect with that frame as he shows off some fluid changing burst within his routes on tape.

His long striding separation ability really struck a chord with me on tape, as he has that well-balanced pull away speed within the first 5-7 yards to accelerate with his solid route-running ability. He also shows off that he can make those higher-traffic catches look smooth sailing.

Ty also shows off some upside as a defensive back, as has some swift agility to jump the route and press down the accelerator. I can bet that the Northern Sun conference recruiters will have Logan as a high-priority over the next several months, and I would bet the North Dakota FCS programs get involved as well looking for a sizable possession WR with great hands.

[player_tooltip player_id='552098' first='Ty' last='Dassinger'], RB/LB, Dickinson Trinity (2024) Twitter

Ty checks in as the #11 overall prospect in the Roughrider State. He is a solid weapon out of the backfield, that has a chiseled 5'11 195 pound frame that shows off some sizable durability on every rep on tape.

He shows off some well-balanced agility off of first contact and has that finished speed you want out of the running back position especially once he gets into the second level. At the linebacker spot, Ty shows off some elite vision within the inside box and his versatility on both sides of the field will make opposing coaches want to engage where he is at all times, as a 1st-Team All-State linebacker as a junior.

Ty is not just durability sound, this young man is a work-horse for every yard he can get on the football field, as that blue-collar work ethic this kid has all over the field should show off some high attraction to the FCS and Division II levels once this young man gets into a prospect camp setting by summer. Ty is one of the highest ranked prospects we have also ever had from the Dickinson area on our recruiting boards since 2020 when we launched.
