Walker’s a versatile DB that can line up and be effective from any position in the secondary. At 6’2” 195 lbs. he possesses a good combination of length, athleticism, and speed that allows him to cover all areas of the field. He’s patient with his reads and efficient with his movement to close space while in coverage and in pursuit. Plus ball skills with the ability to anticipate and time out his jump to play the ball well in the air. Strong open field tackler that is not afraid of contact and can be a thumper when he’s able to line up a ball carrier. Flew under the recruiting radar most of his career but started to pick up attention towards the end of his senior season. Collected six total offers before committing/signing to Central Washington.
Layman was a big time contributor on both sides of the ball at Zillah and was a two-way First Team All-League selection. At 5’10” 175 lbs. he’s got good lateral quickness and burst to match movement while maintaining coverage. Flashes good eye discipline and instincts to anticipate where the ball is going and put himself in position to make a play. Love how decisive and quick he is when he commits to his reads and breaks on the ball. Does a good job putting himself between the ball and receiver to break up passes at the catch point. Good player that is still uncommitted and positional flexible.
Bankston’s a strong cover corner that has the speed and quickness to stay in phase at all three levels. Good fluidity in the hips and change of direction with the short area burst to close space and recover. Shows he can be on an island and matchup one on one while effectively playing press or off coverage. Love his route recognition skills and coverage instincts. Not the biggest corner at 5’9” 155 lbs. but he’s got active hands and is tough/physical in run support. Uncommitted but holds a handful of offers including Pacific Lutheran, Ripon, Avila, Puget Sound, St. Norbert, and McPherson.
Marsh is a versatile athlete that can be a playmaker in all three phases. He’s got good speed and shows he can accelerate out of his breaks. Good natural athleticism and ball skills, flashes plus hand-eye coordination, concentration, and tracking ability at the catch point. Plus awareness and reactionary quickness to transition out of his backpedal and break on the ball. Efficient with his movement and technique while being smart with his attack angles to maintain positional leverage. Quality all around football player that had 14 PBU’s as a senior. Uncommitted with offers from College of Idaho, Whitworth, Pacific Lutheran, and Puget Sound.
