Matthew Costa: WR || 6’0 || 175lbs || Pine View HS || c/o 2024
Costa is an athletic player with good explosiveness and quickness to play the Slot position for the Panthers. Good burst and cutting ability to run in and out of routes as a Slot receiver. Can run over the middle and downfield as a deep threat. Athletic after the catch showing good quickness and acceleration to avoid tacklers in the open field. With 26 receptions for 294 yards and 3 TDs, Costa will to look to increase those numbers as one of the Panthers top targets returning next season.
Jaron Colton: WR,DB || 5’10 || 160lbs || Uintah HS || c/o 2024
Colton is an athletic player that plays on the outside for the Utes. Plays with good initial quickness out his stance. He can play as a deep threat downfield showing he can adjust to the tough passes with the ball in flight. Has good body control to turn in and out on long routes. Avoid tacklers after the catch to gain more yards. Colton’s ability as a receiver will be needed as the Utes face off against good teams in the 4A Class.
Derrell Nichols: WR,FS || 5’11 || 175lbs || Jordan HS || c/o 2024
Nichols is an athletic player that can play on the outside and as a Slot receiver. Shows good speed to go deep, get seperation and locate the ball in flight to adjust and make the catch. Shows good quickness and route agility to run short routes in the slot. Good willingness to be a blocker and good athletic ability and elusiveness after the catch to avoid tacklers in the open field. Be on the lookout for Nichols as one of the Beetdiggers top players next season.
Carson Cox: WR || 6’4 || 190lbs || Ridgeline HS || c/o 2024
Cox is an athletic player that lines up outside for the Riverhawks. A big target downfield that shows good burst out his stance and can use height and length to catch over defenders. Good vision to find the ball in flight and adjust to make the catch. Shows fluid hips to run slant and out routes. Tough after the catch to fight for extra yards. The Riverhawks will need his big play ability to make another deep playoff run the 4A State Championship.
Steven Hoskins: WR,FS || 6’5 || 165lbs || Hillcrest HS || c/o 2025
Hoskins is no stranger to our site, his tall athletic frame can’t be ignored when you go see the Huskies play next season. I expect a lot of offers to come his way now that he’ll be a junior because he’ll make a lot of noise when he takes the field.
