Justin Ocasio Justin Ocasio 6’2″ | 205 lbs | QB Hamden Hall Country Day Schoo | 2027 New E Is 6’2″ 215lbs quarterback and attends Wethersfield High School in Connecticut. He also was positioned as a OLB and defensive end for his team.rn”Ocasio” will be a sophomore in 2023. What I know is he has a very strong arm and will be a name to know moving forward. In viewing his film, one can see his arm strength is going to be a weapon he utilizes to hurt opponents as he continued to develop. He knows when to step up into the pocket when feeling pressure. Has speed and dangerous legs that can burn a defender if not contained. He is patient in his throws and does really well with his progressions. He has a nice release and ball placement in his throws appear to be good. His footwork and throwing mechanics appear solid. Has good accuracy when throwing on the run.
He is also a basketball player on his school Varsity team as a freshman.
Lucan Magnifico is a 6’4″ 165lbs and attends Masconomet Regional High School in Boxford, Ma. He was positioned at linebacker for his team this past season as a freshman on Varsity. He has a large athletic frame that has room for future growth and development. rnAs a Freshman he has not seen any interest by any colleges “yet”. In my opinion, it’s just a matter of time before interest will easily begin to pick up.
He was a starter his first season game as linebacker and even got action as a tight end. He started in about 90% of his team games over the season. Unfortunately we don’t have access to any stats but his highlight reel can speak for himself.
In view of his film, he plays down hill and attacks the opponent backfield with consistent effort each rep. He tackles through the body and with a very low pad level dispict being 6’4″. He is very good at containment responsibility on the edge. On offense, he holds and sustains blocks and knows how to use good technique to turn his defender away from running lane. Strong recruit with a very high ceiling and just getting started.
Highlights
Malcolm Mason Malcolm Mason 6’2″ | 190 lbs | WR Lawrence Academy | 2027 State New E is a rising class of 2026 wide receiver who attends Auburn High School In Auburn, Ma. He is 6’0″ 170lbs who plays wide receiver for his team. I was alerted about this athlete from several area coaches who indicated he has rising talent that needs to to be known. rnThis past 2022 season, he compiled 12 receptions for 256 yards and 3 tds on offense and also had 9 tackles, and 4 pass breakups on defense. He has raw athletic talent and will only improve as he continues to grow and develop.
His film shows good athletic coordination, body control and balance that allows him to make difficult catches. He is a smooth runner that can stop on the dime and change direction. Appears to know how to find the soft spot in zone coverages. He looks to block defenders out on the perimeter to help spring the ball carrier. He catches with hands and looks for the YAC each time he is targeted. His skill set will continue to improve as he continues to grow and develop.
Maxwell “Max” Baroni Is 5’7″ 150lbs who attends Minnechaug Regional High School in Massachusetts. He was positioned as a wide receiver for his team. During the 2022 season, he compiled 14 catches for 237 yards and a touchdown. 21 rushes for 233 yards and a touchdown while playing in 8 games on the varsity team. His season play earned him “All Western Mass Honorable Mention honors. “
In view of his film, I came away impressed with this young man. Most importantly with his vision. He is slippery and can easily cut, plant change direction all while running inside and through interior line of scrimmages. He has excellent balance and body control. His effort for YAC is good. He is difficult to tackle in open field and he can juke to make defenders miss without giving up quickness and speed to get up field. He has reliable hands, good flexibility, and loose hips seen in his skill set. He is going to be name known in the New England moving forward. Has time and room to continue growing and developing. Very good athletic abilities.
