Glanz is the best OL prospect in San Diego and top-10 at the position in Prep Redzone’s 2024 rankings. He’s a massive presence at LT (6’7”/295) that can dominate man-blocking assignments and eliminates defenders on the edge. He’s punishing in the run game, smooth working up to the second level, and more than capable as a puller. He’s efficient with his movement in pass-pro and shows IQ processing blitz pick-ups. Glanz committed to UCLA in late January with 10+ offers from Arizona, Cal, Tennessee, and ASU among others.
Highlights
Clifford’s a rising 2024 OL prospect that’s added 9 offers this offseason from Arizona, Army, NAU, and multiple Mountain West/Ivy League schools. He’s a violent run blocker that can dominate edge defenders with physical strength. He’s continued to add weight to his 6’4”/280 frame and moves well with light, active feet for his size. He plays with leverage and technique as a pass blocker- using his length to extend and keep defenders from getting into his pads. Clifford’s one of the top RT prospects in San Diego heading into next season.
Highlights
Farr provides length and physicality on sides of the ball at RT/DT. He possesses upside in his physical skillset at 6’6”/265 and could develop into a major P-5 prospect depending on how his frame continues to fill out. He’s an athletic mover that can pick up blocks working down the line or up to the second level. He’s effective on the front-end, utilizing his reach early and often to slow oncoming rush. Farr picked up his first two offers from Cal and Nevada in January with potential to add more major D-I offers down the road.
Terry Hou
Terry Hou
Hou picked up a D-II offer in February from Chadron St. after a strong all-league junior season. He has a workable frame at 6’4”/275 with ability to add weight/mass. He moves quick off the ball and gets to his landmarks with urgency. He can wall-off edge rushers as an OT and displaces rushers with a strong punch. He plays with heavy feet at times that tend to limit his range of motion but can drive defenders off the spot when engaging with active leg drive. Hou will be an OL prospect to watch in San Diego’s North County this season.
Brown’s a two-year starter at G on a MDC team that’s won back-to-back state championships. He provides brute physicality along the interior of the OL at 6’3”/295. He presents mismatches against interior power rushers with his broad frame and anchor ability. He raises too high out of his stance at times and could generate additional power with more consistent leverage/pad level. Brown’s an under-the-radar G prospect that should see more interest come in with another strong season.
