With some schools beginning to reach out to some of the upcoming stars in the game, it’s important to know about kids that are about to break the internet. The Class of 2027 is loaded with TONS of undiscovered talent around the country and here are some athletes that you need to know about now.
Aaron Austin is a well-rounded athlete out of Arkansas, that everyone should to get a jumpstart on. Coming out of the Natural State, Aaron is a 5’9 and 130-pound natural athlete that can play at a high level out on the edge of the field. With his athleticism and speed, it seems like Aaron would excel on either side of the ball. His ball skills would make him an awesome candidate for starting on either side of the ball. On the defensive side of the ball, Aaron is feared by quarterbacks with his coverage ability. With him being able to trail any wideout and maintaining a midpoint between the ball and the receiver, you won’t find Aaron giving up too many yards through the air. So far, it looks like Aaron is off to a nice start to the offseason grind between junior high and high school–and for good reason.
Danny Lang is another athlete who has already made some noise on the national recruiting scene. The So.Cal Defensive Back has already collected a Power 5 offer from Maryland, and it’s well-deserved. The 6 foot, 190-pound DB is one of the most electrifying athletes that I have had a chance to evaluate. With Danny’s excellent speed and innate nature to find the ball, he is already proving that he is one of the best athletes in his class. Whenever Danny has the ball in his hands, it is going to take the effort of the entire opposing team to try and take him down. Danny is a pure athlete who can do whatever he wants on the field and he has shown that very early on. I expect Danny to continue to excel on the gridiron and to continue to stack up more offers through out his high school career.
Ben Musser is an intriguing quarterback who can seemingly fit into any offensive mold that you can think of. The Peach State quarterback stands over six-feet tall and weighs around 175 pounds. In the pocket, Ben moves with solid body control and footwork to ensure that he can deliver a clean ball when he find his target. Ben’s throwing motion is smooth, quick, and concise. When he is releasing the, he proves that he can get the ball off on time no matter if there is pressure or not. With the season he had in 2022, I would not be surprised to see him climb quarterback boards around the state. Ben is a quarterback with some exciting upside.
Betson III is an exciting edge rusher that has produced some impressive performances in 2022, as a member of the OG Ducks out of California. The Nevada defensive linemen is listed on social media at 6-foot-1 and 220 pounds. Albert has proven to be one of the best pass rushers that I have had a chance to evaluate. Off the ball, Betson III has some great get off out of his stance. His arm length puts offensive linemen in a bind as well, as he is able to get extension and/or mix in a quick move to the inside. With all of the options that he has as a pass rusher, it is not surprising that he has been able to succeed at the rate that he does. With everything that I have seen from Albert, he has a chance to extend his success on the youth level, to high school and beyond.
Vincent Botello is another Michigan prospect with some upside. the Mitten State product has some impressive size for his age and carries it well. On film, Vincent moves very well for his size and has proven to be one to dominate trenches throughout the entire game on the local level. Vincent plays with a nasty edge that every offensive lineman needs when on the field. Whether he is laying down some pancakes or opening up running lanes for his backs, Vincent has good ability. Needs to continue to lock in and get more consistent if he wants to meet his full potential. He’ll also benefit greatly from a high school weight and conditioning program. He has a lot of the raw tools and it will be fun to see if he can tie it all together over the next four years.

Lyndon Daley is a linebacker that everyone needs to put on their radar, now. The Magnolia State product is beginning to grow into one of Mississippi’s top 2027 prospects at the second level of defense. With him stacking up 4 forced fumbles, 30 tackles, and one fumbler recovery last year, Lyndon is already showing early signs of being a playmaker on the defensive side of the ball. On the field, Lyndon flies around with some bad intentions as a Linebacker. No matter where the ball is on the field, Lyndon has shown a knack for pursuing and making the play. He might be one of the most physical kids that I have had a chance to watch in some time. With how he plays football, I believe Lyndon will continue to build off of 2022 and have a big season this year. I am very excited to see what Lyndon accomplishes here in 2023, as he heads to high school.

Mikahi Allen Mikahi Allen 6’2″ | 215 lbs | DB Don Bosco Prep | 2027 State NJ is a rare breed that people need to get familiar with very soon. The Garden State Athlete stands 6’2 and weighs around 230 pounds. Mikahi is a dual-sport athlete who dominates on both the basketball court and the football field. With the athletic dominance that I have seen from Mikahi, it is clear that he is going to be one of the most dynamic athletes to come out of the 2027 recruiting class for either football or basketball. Recently announcing he’ll attend New Jersey high school football powerhouse Don Bosco Prep, with his pure power and speed, Mikahi has proven to be a weapon on the field who can produce big plays at a high clip. With the ball in his hands, it seems to be almost impossible to bring him down. When attacking on defense, good luck blocking him. From everything that I have seen in Mikahi, it is clear that he has the makings of a rare talent. I would not be surprised to see him stack some big time offers up when it is all said and done.
