Let’s take a look…
Aaron Philo Aaron Philo 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Prince Avenue Christian | 2024 State GA – Prince Avenue Christian
One of the more productive quarterbacks across the state, it’s about time the Prince Avenue Christian gunslinger is seeing new offers come his way. A multi-year starter who is already off to a tremendous career, Philo was fantastic last year as a junior, throwing for 4,600 yards which led the entire state of Georgia. He shows terrific arm strength, but his accuracy is what makes him stand out among the rest. He may not have ideal size for some D1 programs, but he has legitimate arm talent, and his numbers couldn’t be much better. While leading the state in passing, the Athens-area quarterback also threw for 54 touchdowns and led his Wolverine team all the way to the Single-A private state championship game. He throws a beautiful deep ball, has great field awareness, and has the leadership traits that’s needed for every quarterback. He has a quick release, he’s smart with the football, and he’s going to make one program very happy down the road. He earned a new offer from Minnesota this week, and it shouldn’t be his last. Look for his stock to continue to rise over thee next several months.
Luke Nickel Luke Nickel 6'2" | 195 lbs | QB Milton | 2025 State GA – Milton
One of the top dual-threat quarterbacks across Georgia for the 2025 class, Nickel was terrific last year not only throwing the football, but running it for one of the top 7A programs in Georgia. A thick, talented quarterback, Nickel showed impressive footwork, has a strong, quick release, and knows where to put the football. It’s not easy to play quarterback as a sophomore for top 7A program, but Nickel was up to the task. He has a live arm, can push the ball down the field, and makes tough throws look easy at times. There was a good amount of hype around Nickel coming into the 2022 season and thee young signal-caller lived up to the hype. He understands the position and has a playmaker aspect to his game. He’s mobile, moves in the pocket well, but also knows how to take off down the field for a nice gain. He’s a tough runner when he needs to be, and as he continues to develop as a passer, he could see more offers come his way this off-season. He earned one of the biggest offers in the country recently as he earned an offer from Stanford. With the Cardinal on board, look for other programs to jump in the mix as well. The Milton sophomore threw for 2,507 yards last season with 24 touchdowns.
Antwann Hill Antwann Hill 6'4" | 215 lbs | QB Houston County | 2025 State GA Jr – Houston County
The top-ranked 2025 quarterback in Georgia right now, the big Houston County gun-slinger has one of the biggest arms you’ll find from any sophomore across the peach state. A strong-armed quarterback with plenty of size and a frame that will help him add more muscle, Hill Jr. is coming off a tremendous sophomore season where he threw on defenses consistently all season long. At 6-foot-5 215-pounds, Hill Jr stands tall in the pocket and loves to test defenses down the field. He can push the ball vertically and does it accurately. He throws a nice, catchable ball and does a good job of hitting his receivers in stride. He can make the throws and he’s started to become one of the better 2025 quarterbacks across the South. He was the leading passer in Georgia for the 2025 class last season, throwing for 3,663 yards and 40 touchdowns to just three INTs. He’s smart with the football, makes the right decisions, and shows easy D1 talent. He already holds a handful of impressive Power 5 offers, and he earned a new one this week from Ole Miss. If he continues to develop over the next two years, the Middle Georgia standout might have every offer in the book when it’s all said and done.
