His combination of speed and strength makes him a force to be reckoned with on the field. Mailei can obliterate offensive linemen when coming down to blow up plays before he takes down running backs. He’s an exceptional tackler who takes great angles to limit plays on the ground and outside. He’s always looking to create big turnovers and does a good job getting the ball out with hard hits or by using his hands.

Hansen was lights out in 2022. He has 100 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and three interceptions in one of the best seasons any player in the 2023 class had. Hansen has a great football IQ and isn’t fooled by fakes. He’s a force in the middle of the Phoenix defense and possesses true sideline-to-sideline quickness. Hansen takes great angles when closing in on ball carriers, and he’s an exceptional blitzer. His speed and quickness off the snap make it difficult for offensive linemen to slow him down. Hansen’s ability to impact the game in so many ways makes him one of the best linebackers in the class of 2024.
