Today we are taking a look at the class of 2026 prospects that stood out from this thread of athletes. We will include recruits who are new names to us that are separating themselves from the pack and some familiar faces too.
Already 6’5 330lbs at 15, the eye test won’t be hard to pass for Baker. He’s a good pass blocker with strength that allows him to lock out pass rushers. Once engaged he’s able to hold off defensive tackles for 3-4 seconds. In the run game he uses his big frame and turns his hips and shoulders to funnel defenders away from the hole sometimes ending in a pancake. So far, he’s off to a good start with 2 offers from Boston College and UNC-Charolette.
Bannerman has been put in the perfect position for his skillset and size. He is strong but quick and has leverage in the interior line at center. He drives defenders off the ball until the echo of the whistle. Defensively at DT or nose guard, he does a great job of reading pulling tackles, leading to position to make a play.
Arnold does a great job at throwing on the run, he threw his first varsity TD on a 40-yard roll out pass. An eye-catching skill of his is the ability to throw across the field while back pedaling. Now Five-foot ten isn’t the tallest for a QB prospect but still with plenty time to develop as a prospect, maybe expect a 6’1-6’2 athletic QB. He shows athleticism beyond the pocket, showcasing elusiveness and even some physicality playing Db on defense. Arnold is definitely a prospect to keep a tab on this upcoming season.
Highlights
Damon is an absolute playmaker for CHC, with a high ceiling. I’ve had the opportunity to evaluate this prospect prior to his debut at Calvert Hall at Maryland FBU practice and the translation is seamless, even better from what I witnessed in person. He’s very versatile and is a gamechanger on both sides of the ball. Get started early with this prospect he already has 1 offer from UNC-Charolette.
Highlights
Braxton is a very talented kicker and punter in this class. He’s dropped punts at the 1, showed directional punts, and kicks touchbacks on kickoffs, all in game. Braxton was ranked #7 in the class of 2026 at the Chris Sailor Kicking Camp, and a 3.5-star caliber prospect. At the Khol’s Kicking Camp he placed #2 in both FGs and Punting with a 51-yard FG and was ranked a 3.5-star caliber prospect once again. With numbers and accolades like these Braxton’s recruiting stock should rise tremendously, check out some of his highlights on his twitter below.
