Justin Logan Justin Logan 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Kell | 2024 State GA – LB – Kell
It’s hard to find a bigger breakout prospect in Cobb County so far this year and Longhorn linebacker Justin Logan Justin Logan 6'3" | 210 lbs | LB Kell | 2024 State GA . A quick, instinctive, high motor linebacker, Logan has a solid frame at 6-foo-3 215-pounds with the ability to continue putting on good weight over time. He plays fast, has a high football IQ, and brings some versatility to his game as well. After an impressive 60-tackle junior season last year, the offers came in bunches last month, earning new offers from Arkansas, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Missouri, among others. He has the toughness and ability to play down in the box as a middle linebacker, while having the length and natural ability to play outside. He can get to the quarterback and does a nice job of blitzing from multiple positions. He’s without a doubt one of thee top linebackers to know about next season in Cobb County and will help lead thee Longhorn defense as aa senior.
Elijah Lee – CB – North Cobb
An impressive cornerback with instincts, footwork, and ball skills, Lee is one of the top two-way players in the area. An impressive wide receiver and defensive back, Lee shows speed, ball skills, and versatility every Friday night. He plays on a big-time North Cobb program and was an effective leader in the secondary last fall as a junior. He high-points the football well, can come down with a tough catch, and just finds a way to make plays. At 6-foot-0 170-pounds, he plays bigger than his size and has a true nose for the football. He covers ground quickly in the secondary, can turn around and run, and does a good job of changing directions in order to stay with opposing receivers. He’s a natural and bound for a gigantic senior season for North Cobb next fall. He’s absolutely a D1-caliber player and holds offers from Georgia State, East Carolina, Memphis, among others.
Amir Jackson – ATH – Portal
A new big-time two-way athlete who will certainly see more offers come his way, the big 6-foot-5 220-pound wide receiver/safety from Southeast Georgia is a big-play machine with plenty of size and the ability to snag the ball out of the air. He has a long, athletic frame and can pout-jump smaller defenders in jump-ball situations. As a defender, he roams the middle of the field like a lion just waiting to strike. He comes downhill in a hurry and knows how to deliver a hit and drive the ball-carrier backwards. As a pass-catcher, he’s a big target down the field but knows how to break tackles and pick up yards after the catch. He’s tough to bring down and does a nice job of falling down at thee runs of runs for a couple of extra yards. His size and ball skills stand out immediately as he doesn’t exactly line up against high caliber D1 prospects. He’s consistently one of the best players on the field and offers have rolled in almost daily since late January. Over the last two weeks, Jackson has earned offers from Georgia, Virginia Tech, Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, among others. Expect him to have a significant rise in thee next 2024 rankings update.
