2024 RB Breakdown

<p>This class of running backs caught my attention this offseason. I made it my duty to check them out. A lot of these guys are big backs with speed. I can't wait to see the ones I haven't witnessed firsthand, in person. Let's take a quick view at who this class has to offer at running back.</p>   <h2><strong>Decorian Cowen</strong>, Thomasville </h2>   <p>I think that Cowen has some very great vision. He plays in a wing t style offense, but he always finds the hole. He has the speed to take the football the distance. Cowen is not the running back who is going to shy away from contact. He loves to bang when he is running the football. He is a prospect that I will definitely be keeping up with. I want to see a lot more out of him before I make any decisions. </p>   <h2><strong>Donovan Arrington, Prattv</strong>ille </h2>   <p>Arrington is a heavy load out of the backfield. This young man also has great acceleration. He has a big body and knows how to get behind his pads. Arrington needs to get more elusive once he breaks. On his film there are a lot of plays that he could have took the football the distance. If he finds a way to be able to break those tackles on the next level, he could have some crazy stats. His first step into the hole happens very fast. I would love to see him develop into a more elusive player. He has a lot of talent with great size.</p>   <h2><strong>Ahmad Hardy, Lawrence Co</strong></h2>   <p>This is one of the best running backs in this class for Mississippi. He plays in the deep South of Mississippi. In that area the wing t is very popular. He does a great job in that offense. Hardy has good speed. He also has good vision once he gets past the line of scrimmage. He has the ability to make defenders make the wrong move. Hardy is going to be a division one player. He needs to hit a lot of camps this off-season to show off his skills.</p>   <h2><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='484500' first='Kevin' last='Riley'], Tuscaloosa C</strong>o</h2>   <p>Riley is one of the best running backs in the nation for the 2024 class. He rarely needs an introduction. Riley is the complete package at running back. He has great hands out of the backfield. He can pass protect when he doesn't have an assignment. Riley has good breakaway speed. He is also a guy that has great vision. He gets behinds his pads. You won't easily bring Riley down with arm tackles. I'm very anxious to see where he will be playing on the next level. </p>
