He is a high IQ player that reads plays quickly and violently fills gaps while showing fluid hips in transition and breaking quickly to ball carriers. He is a high motor kid with closing speed into the backfield with good COD abilities and redirects quickly while exploding through contact at the POA. Also able to apply pressure off the edge, he shows cover abilities against backs in the flats and tight ends downfield. He is extremely strong at the POA, shows violent hands and good pass rush abilities while able to blow up blockers and is a strong tackler in the box. When playing inside linebacker, he is a downhill vertical thumper with a quick play diagnosis and wins with leverage and explosion near the LOS. A plug in the middle, he runs well for his size and gets outside the tackles quickly while taking good angles to ball carriers in space and is a violent and sound tackler at the POA. A very high motor kid with relentless pursuit backside, he sniffs out plays quickly while seemingly always around the ball and has a natural feel for the game. Against the run, he blows up second level blockers and wins with pad level and lower body strength at the POA when shedding and getting off blocks. He shows a quick trigger to inside run plays and does a nice job at maneuvering through traffic to get to ball carriers with a low hat and thumping at the POA. Whens scraping over the top, he displays quick feet and good lateral movement abilities while able to bend around blockers and looks for contact in the hole. Outside the tackles he shows open field speed and quick COD abilities while able to track down backs that bounce it outside with some cover abilities as well.
