Chiles finished inside PRZ’s top-5 QBs in CA’s 2023 class after a massive offseason/senior season that included five P-5 offers in May. He’s a legit dual-threat QB that showed continuous growth and improvement as a two-year starter for Downey. He presents accuracy, athleticism, and playmaking ability at the next level. He’s a natural runner that can pick up chunks of yards and extend plays behind the LOS with long strides. Chiles committed to Oregon St. in June 2022 and enrolled in January.
Tiller helped lead Rancho Cucamonga to a 9-3 record after transferring from Gilbert, AZ. He’s an athletic, mobile passer that possesses high-level arm strength and talent. He anticipates throws against zone, delivers on time, and throws with velocity. He can move the pocket and throw on the run with accuracy. He has a quick release and can thread it over shallow coverage. Tiller signed with Boise St. in December.
Staub was one of the most productive passers in California, totaling 3,000 yards and 37 TDs with 5 INTs. He’s an accurate QB from the pocket that shows precise ball placement at the third level and towards the sidelines. He can pick apart the soft spots against zone and pick up scramble yards when plays break down. Staub was one of the top retained commits by Coach Prime and Colorado.
Highlights
Dieffenbach is a raw prospect with moldable physical traits at 6’5”/190. He backed off a long commitment to UNLV after picking up his second P-5 offer from Pitt in December- where he eventually signed. He likes to extend plays behind the LOS and find receivers on the run. He can lead receivers in the shallow areas and put them in positions to make plays. Dieffenbach produced a big junior season before having his senior season limited due to injury.
Highlights
Mandal signed with local Fresno St. as one of the top QBs in central California. He likes to move the pocket and improvise plays outside the tackles. He’s good at evading the rush with creativity in the backfield and keeping his eyes downfield. He has some fundamentals and habits to clean up as a passer but presents upside at the next level for his hometown program.
