Updated 2023 Rankings – New Additions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A review of player rankings to include 391 players have been updated. Several players have been added to the rankings based on their field performances from the past season. I am doing a review of seven players that have been added to the rankings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='578662' first='Lukas' last='Kachilo'] - QB, 6'1" 190 (No. 40 QB, No. 364 Overall), West Henderson HS</strong>. Lukas displayed good arm strength on his passes to the receivers. He completed 248 of 342 passes for 3,380 yards and 43 TDs. He completed 72.5 percent of his passes throughout the season. Lukas averaged 260 yards per game along with 9 interceptions. He finished the season with a QB rating of 132. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='578663' first='AJ' last='Sirianni'] - QB, 5'10" 190 (No. 42 QB, No. 365 Overall), Community School of Davidson</strong>. AJ displayed good accuracy on short and medium throws to receivers. He completed 256 of 412 passes for 3,856 yards and 52 TDs. He completed 62 percent of his passes throughout the season. AJ averaged 321.3 yards per game along with 14 interceptions. AJ finished the season with a QB rating of 118. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Donte Lipscomb Jr. - OL, 6'4" 340 (No. 16 OL, No. 75 Overall), Eastern Guilford HS</strong>. Donte displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He displayed upper body strength to overpower defenders while run blocking. Donte is a big and powerful offensive lineman with good agility and quickness. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='579922' first='Mason' last='Sechrest'] - OL, 6'6" 340 (No. 18 OL, No. 77 Overall), Eastern Randolph HS</strong>. Mason displayed good footwork and technique to control defenders while opening lanes for the running backs. He used his size and upper body strength to overpower defenders while run blocking. Mason is a massive offensive lineman with good agility and quickness. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='579957' first='LJ' last='Allen'] - DB, 6'3" 185 (No. 14 DB, No. 148 Overall), Burns HS</strong>. LJ displayed the ability to change directions quickly while covering receivers. He used his long arms and technique to blanket receivers, making it difficult to complete a pass against him. LJ played on both sides of the ball for team. He is a talented defensive back with a bright upside.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='580717' first='Taevion' last='Cox'] - DT, 6'3" 290 (13 DL, No. 86 Overall), New Bern HS</strong>. Taevion displayed good footwork and good use of hands to control blockers while moving past to make stops. He moved well in tight spaces to shut down the inside running plays. Taevion displayed quickness to get into the backfield and make stops for losses. He was difficult to block one-on-one and has a bright upside. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='580857' first='Jimmyll' last='Williams'] - RB, 5'10" 185 (No. 9 RB, No. 40 Overall), Hillside HS</strong>. Jimmyll follows blockers while looking for an opening to gain yardage. He displayed good balance and vision while running inside for tough yards. Jimmyll finished the season with 196 carries for 2,258 yards and 23 TDs. He averaged 173.7 yards per game and 11.52 yards per carry along with 1 fumble.
