Cole Funderburk Cole Funderburk 6'4" | 220 lbs | TE North Gwinnett | 2025 State GA – North Gwinnett
A two-way player who turned into an impact pass-rusher off the EDGE last year, Funderburk is an athletic 6-foot-4 215-pounder who showed a terrific motor off the edge for an extremely talented Bulldog defense. He used his length to get off blocks all season and used his motor to harass the quarterback. He was tough to deal with in one-on-one situations and got to the quarterback with ease, an impressive feat for any sophomore going up against quality 7A competition. He was productive all season long, tallying 59 tackles and an eye-opening 16 TFLs. He lived in the backfield all season long, and when he didn’t attack the running back behind the line of scrimmage, he was sacking the quarterback. He got the the quarterback 15 times last year with another 15 hurries, towards the top of the list for any sophomore across the state. A natural pass-rusher, look for Funderbunk to continue working and developing his craft. His best football is still way ahead of him, and he could have a true breakout season in 2023 as a junior.
Caleb Bell Caleb Bell 6'3" | 255 lbs | DL Milton | 2025 State GA – St. Francis
An up and coming sophomore defensive lineman to know in the North Fulton area, Bell is an athletic EDGE rusher at 6-foot-2 215-pounds who really shined week in and week out as a sophomore last year. He didn’t necessarily line up against great competition, but he still dominated like a promising D1-caliber prospect should. He might not be the biggest or longest pass-rusher, but he’s fundamentally sound, he’s quick off the snap, and has a great motor when attacking the quarterback. His father was a former NFL defender for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the younger Bell shows love and passion for the game as well. He’s strong, delivers a big hit, and he’s great in pursuit. He finished off a fantastic sophomore season with 15 sacks and a jaw-dropping 26 hurries. He was a consistent run defender as well, makingHe’s young, and while he may not play against great competition, Bell is a promising D1 prospect who could see his stock continue to rise as the season moves along this fall. He’s currently ranked as the No. 34 overall prospect in the 2025 class.
Logan Brooking – Savannah Christian
A tough, nasty lineman with explosiveness off the edge, Brooking is one of the top 2025 defenders in the Savannah who knows how to deliver a hit. His father, former Atlanta Falcon linebacker Keith Brooking, was one of thee best in his time, and Logan plays with the same type of style. He looks the part physically for his age at 6-foot-4 215-pounds and has been dominating opposing linemen all season long. He’s quick off the ball, gets off blocks, and knows how to get after the quarterback. He’s a terrific pass-rusher and shows great pursuit of the quarterback. Brooking has made 12 sacks on the season and shows plenty of D1 potential. Eventually, the offers will start flooding in. He’s also made an impressive 66 tackles on the season with 15 TFLs. He’s coming off a great sophomore season and he’ll only get better as a junior. Look for his stock to take off on thee recruiting trail sooner than later.
