DL Charles House – North Meck
Recent Offers – Auburn, East Carolina, South Carolina
Analysis – I have seen Charles since his freshman year for the Vikings, and he was instantly someone people in the football circles in Charlotte said would be the next big defensive lineman to come out of the city. He has done nothing but live up to those projections so far in his career. Standing at 6’5 and 295 pounds, he moves with incredible explosion and athleticism at the snap. He regularly gets a pass rush with a nice arm-over-swim move that shows good teaching and technique in action. He routinely shows the ability to chase down ball carriers and make tackles in the backfield for losses as well.
RB
Christopher Daley
Christopher
Daley
5'10" | 185 lbs | RB
East Lincoln | 2025
State
NC
II – East Lincoln
Recent Offers – Charlotte, Appalachian State
Analysis – Daley II really made a mark in the State Playoffs, helping lead his Mustangs team to a State Championship as a talented sophomore. The first thing that stands out when I look at his film is the fact that he just doesn’t get caught from behind in the open field. A great trait for any running back to have for sure, he has elite speed in open space. He also has that make you miss in the hole ability that you love to see in a top prospect. On top of that, at 5’11 and 180 pounds he has a nice frame that may continue to grow with two years left in high school. Some people thought he was the best running back in the state this past year – I won’t go that far, but he’s a special talent deserving of the attention he is getting for sure.
TE De’Angelo Hall – Olympic
Recent Offers – Charlotte, Virginia Tech
Analysis – I’ve seen Hall as an up-and-coming player since his freshman year with the Trojans, and I’m excited to see his hard work translate into the success he is having now. At 6’3 and 220 pounds, Hall became a reliable target and excellent blocker at the tight end position this past season. I think he could have a future at other positions as it still is early in his career with two years left on the high school level. In looking at his film, he catches the ball very well – he tallied over 40 catches for 800 yards and several touchdowns. He played a TE that flexed out a good bit – meaning he can line up at wide receiver and run routes as well. He can win in the seam against linebackers and safeties, and he looks for contact after the catch – on multiple occasions he just flat runs over a defensive back attempting to tackle him. A great film to watch!
ATH Jordan Young – Monroe
Recent Offers – Charlotte, Wake Forest, Maryland, UNC, Virginia Tech, Penn State
Analysis – The first thing I’ll say about Jordan is he is a true ATH – he makes just as many plays on defense as he does on offense! Offensively he is a Wide Receiver who can be counted on in the clutch to make big catches and big plays to flip a game. I watched him up close in the playoffs, and on every critical 3rd down they were putting the ball in his hands to make something happen. As a sophomore on a very good team, that spoke volumes. Defensively he is a Defensive Back right now, and his closing speed and ball skills are exceptional. He has several Pick 6’s on his film, and it just looks natural. Another thing – he is very fluid – he moves with ease with his agility and shiftiness with the ball in his hands. Ultimately I think that’s where he will end up on the next level, but it will be exciting to see him continue to grow his current 6’0 170 pound frame.
OL/DL David Sanders – Providence Day
Recent Offers – Auburn, Florida, Colorado, Charlotte, Alabama
Analysis – David is a humble beast of an athlete. There is a reason why almost every school in the nation is interested in this supremely talented young man. The first thing is his size – 6’7 and 260 pounds, as I said in a previous article – that size simply does not grow on trees. Secondly, the athleticism at that size is amazing for him – he moves like a much smaller player as he dominates anyone he is going against on the line of scrimmage. The first play on his sophomore highlights, he pulls, form fits, and absolutely implants a poor defender in the ground 10 yards away from the play. Flat-out nasty. On another play he exhibits great feet, fits the DL in pass protection, and then is aggressive and mauls him in the ground. Mentality is the third thing you love. And then after all that, you realize he has two more years of dominance on the high school level, hence all of the offers, rankings, and accolades. He is as legit as they come for sure.
