The recruiting cycle is always busy across the country this time of year. The 2023 class is starting to sign national letters of intent and focus has shifted to 2024, 2025, and 2026. We are going to look at players that placed commitments, received offers, and performed well in camps over the past week. It has been an extremely busy week with plenty of recruiting news going on across the Natural State.

[player_tooltip player_id='170203' first='Logan' last='Tymeson']-Kicker-Bentonville-2023

Throughout his career with the Tigers, Tymeson was a consistent weapon at the kicking position. During his career with Bentonville, Tymeson connected on 19-of-22 field goals. He hit a long of 45 and was able to give Bentonville a chance to put points on the board from long range. On Sunday, Tymeson committed to Arkansas Tech. He will give Arkansas Tech a steady weapon that is an accurate kicker. He is going to be a prospect to watch in Russellville over the next few years.

Kyrone Sims Jr.-Linebacker-Watson Chapel-2023

Over the past three years, Kyrone Sims Jr. has been one of the most impressive linebackers in the state. The Watson Chapel linebacker does a great job of getting into the opposing offensive backfield. He uses his speed well to fend off blocks and bring down the ball carrier. The Arkansas Tech landed another talented prospect by bringing in Sims Jr. He is a prospect with the potential to see the field soon for Tech. Congratulations go out to Kyrone Sims Jr. on committing with Arkansas Tech.

[player_tooltip player_id='172373' first='Bradyn' last='King']-Offensive Line-Gurdon-2025

[player_tooltip player_id='172373' first='Bradyn' last='King'] has been an offensive lineman to watch out for over the past few seasons. He is a powerhouse offensive lineman with extremely quick feet. King has done an excellent job of opening plenty of eyes around the state with his impressive play. King spent his weekend in Fayetteville visiting the Arkansas Razorbacks. The Gurdon offensive lineman was invited back for the spring game in Fayetteville. He is a prospect that has the potential to play on Saturdays in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='149571' first='Walker' last='White']-Quarterback-Little Rock Christian-2024

The 2024 class in the state of Arkansas is one of the most talented that the state has seen in a few years. Little Rock Christian signal caller [player_tooltip player_id='149571' first='Walker' last='White'] has had a busy couple of weeks on the recruiting front. White has a strong arm that can keep the opposing defense. Meanwhile, White is a threat to pick up yards on the ground and extend drives. Over the past two weeks, White has earned scholarship offers from Purdue, Miami, and Texas A&M. Look for this young man to play on Saturdays in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='355415' first='Kobe' last='Branham']-Offensive Line-Fort Smith Southside-2024

Bobby Petrino has hit the recruiting trail hard for the Aggies over the past few weeks. [player_tooltip player_id='355415' first='Kobe' last='Branham'] has excellent size and has played all along the offensive line for Fort Smith Southside. He has tremendous quickness and uses his feet well. Branham's size at 6'6” serves him well and he looks to finish every block. Branham earned a scholarship offer from the Aggies and I look for his recruiting to explode and really take off over the next few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='153886' first='Charleston' last='Collins']-Defensive Line-Little Rock Mills-2024

It is never quiet when it comes to the recruiting of [player_tooltip player_id='153886' first='Charleston' last='Collins']. Collins uses his mix of power and speed to destroy the opposing offensive backfield. He does a great job of rushing the passer. Meanwhile, he is a defensive lineman that can play the tackle or edge rusher with equal effectiveness. Collins had a busy weekend regarding recruiting. The Little Rock Mills defensive standout earned scholarship offers from Auburn and Florida A&M. His recruitment is going to be an interesting one this offseason.

[player_tooltip player_id='304269' first='TJ' last='Lindsey']-Defensive Line-Bryant-2024

The state of Arkansas has an extremely talented defensive line grouping in the 2024 class this season. [player_tooltip player_id='304269' first='TJ' last='Lindsey'] is another defensive lineman that mixes power with excellent speed. Lindsey is coming off of a tremendous showing in San Antonio at the All-American camp. Lindsey earned scholarship offers from Florida A&M and Oklahoma over the past few days. He is setting the stage for a massive 2023 football season.

[player_tooltip player_id='75127' first='Shamar' last='Easter']-Tight End-Ashdown-2023

Easter had a tremendous high school career for Ashdown. He has displayed an ability to catch the football as well as block for his teammates. Easter is a threat in the red zone and does an impressive job of being able to high point the football. Over the weekend, Easter reaffirmed his commitment to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Easter is a prospect that I expect to see the field for the Razorbacks over the next season or two.

[player_tooltip player_id='75139' first='Floyd' last='Williams']-Defensive Back-Gosnell-2023

Wrapping up our recruiting update for the week is talented Gosnell defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='75139' first='Floyd' last='Williams']. Williams has the speed needed to terrorize opposing wide receivers. He does an excellent job of being able to pick off passes and take them the other direction. Williams has committed to Missouri State over the past few weeks. Meanwhile, that has not stopped Houston and the Oregon Ducks from extending scholarship offers his way. Williams has the potential to make plenty of noise on Saturdays in the future.

The recruiting cycle is always busy across the country this time of year. The 2023 class is starting to sign national letters of intent and focus has shifted to 2024, 2025, and 2026. We are going to look at players that placed commitments, received offers, and performed well in camps over the past week.
