Recruiting News and Notes 1-10-23

With every class receiving scholarship offers over the past few weeks it is time to take a look at recruiting news in the state of Arkansas. We have plenty to discuss as well as a little bit of camp news that is making some headlines this week.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='365168' first='Logan' last='Taylor']-Defensive Line-Greenwood-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The versatile Greenwood defensive lineman earned a scholarship offer over the weekend from Hendrix College. Taylor did an excellent job this season for the Bulldogs. He played all along the defensive front and has displayed good quickness. Taylor is always around the ball carrier and is a prospect that does not give up on the play. Taylor received the offer after a terrific visit to Hendrix over the weekend and he is a prospect to watch on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='283398' first='Quentin' last='Murphy']-Quarterback-Joe T. Robinson-2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Robinson signal caller is one of the most dynamic athletes at the quarterback position. His performance this season has opened plenty of eyes across the country. Recently, the Crimson Tide of Alabama extended a scholarship offer to play football there. Meanwhile, on Saturday night Murphy received a scholarship offer to play football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. I look for him to continue to open eyes over the next few seasons, he has the potential to see the field on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='75131' first='Will' last='Moss']-Offensive Line-DeWitt-2023</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='75131' first='Will' last='Moss'] has been a powerhouse on the DeWitt offensive for the past few years. He combines quick feet with impressive strength. Moss placed his commitment with Missouri Southern a few days ago. He will give Missouri Southern an offensive lineman with the versatility to play the tackle or the guard spots. Moss is a prospect that I expect to find the field in the not-too-distant future. He has the potential to see plenty of playing time on Saturdays and is a prospect to watch at Missouri Southern.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='149570' first='Courtney' last='Crutchfield']-Wide Receiver-Pine Bluff-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Pine Bluff wide receiver is one of the most talented wide receivers in the state of Arkansas. Crutchfield has the speed to stretch opposing defenses vertically. He uses his speed well to create separation from opposing defensive backs. However, his route running is usually extremely crisp. To kick off 2023 the talented Pine Bluff wide receiver has received scholarship offers from Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Iowa State University. Folks should look for a big 2023 from Crutchfield, he has the potential to see the field on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Braylon Hardwick-Tight End-Bentonville-2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Bentonville Tigers never seem to disappoint with the talented roster that they produce year in-year out. Tight end Braylon Hardwick is another talented prospect that has no trouble making plays in the passing game for the Tigers. He uses his 6'3” frame well to high point the football. Hardwick is an elusive wide receiver that is difficult to bring down when he gets into the open field. Hardwick's skill as a blocker is an impressive attribute. He has no problem clearing rushing lanes for his teammates. On Monday, the talented tight end received a scholarship offer from Westminster College. Hardwick is a prospect to watch out for during the 2023 season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
