He led Lake Mary to an 8-4 regular season and to the regional finals in the state playoffs this season. Grubbs was the leader in the district throwing for 1,598 yards, completing 51% of his passes with 17 touchdowns through the air. He finished with a QB rating of 90.9. Grubbs was selected Seminole athletic All-Conference second team as a freshman. This season he finished second the district throwing for 1,385 yards, completing 65% of his passes with 12 touchdowns and a QB rating of 108.3; he did all this in just 7 games. He finished third in the district last season throwing for 883 yards, completing 53% of his passes with three touchdowns. He's a dual threat-prospect that also had 89 carries for 615 yards, four touchdowns and two 100 yard rushing games. Last season as a first time starter he helped lead the Blue Darters to the state championship game where they eventually lost a heartbreaker in overtime. Davis finished the season with 580 yards passing and five touchdowns through the air.
