When West Boca Raton won their second straight state football title this past December, Palm Beach County was once again on the map across the state as an area that was getting the attention that the county deserved.

Before the Bulls added yet another 6A crown, it was Cardinal Newman that won its first ever state title, knocking off national power Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna to win the 1A title.

Those two victories by the #561 put Palm Beach County in a spotlight they had never been before.

With Miami-Dade and Broward Counties getting so much of the spotlight for well over a decade, their neighbors to the north have stepped up to become home to some impressive football.

Today, we once again stop in a region of the Sunshine State that truly deserves the attention – with some quality prospects:

2027 – Tyler Alexander, DT, 6'5, 310, Wellington Palm Beach Central – 3.5 GPA. As the off-season began, here is one of the most sought-after prospects by colleges nationally. Someone who brings everything to the table with size, athleticism and skill level. This is a true playmaker that can not only get after the quarterback but also has become an outstanding run stopper, working from the inside.

2027 – Nick Bothe, Athlete, 5'11, 185, of Jupiter. Before the start of the 2025 season, here is a prospect that we talked about. A classic throwback performer for the Warriors. Someone who will carry the ball for you on offense and then move to safety/linebacker and change the game on the defensive side of the ball. One of the most versatile pure football players that will return in 2026. The off-season will be fun as he gets bigger and more schools will uncover a true talent.

2027 – Lorontae' “Nomo” Davis, WR/FS, 6'0, 180, Palm Beach Gardens – 3.0 GPA. Yet another elite talent that we had been talking about and spotlighting over the past year. A prospect that can make an impact on both sides of the ball for the Gators. As a receiver, he has the speed, skill and playmaking ability to turn a game around. He does the same in the defensive secondary as an impact player who is very smart and leads by example. Will certainly be a talent to keep an eye on during the off-season, into the spring and summer before the start of the 2026 season.

2028 – Rodney Hammonds, DE/LB, 6'2, 180, Royal Palm Beach – 3.1. After watching him perform before the season and during 2025, there was no getting around the fact that this sophomore was indeed special. Having the opportunity to watch him play – and not just watch a film – truly uncovers the gift that he has as you project what his growth and maturity will be all about in the next two years. Will grow into the linebacker position – while having the skill to come off the edge as a potential pass rusher. Is yet another student/athlete who can get it done in the classroom as well as on the football field.

2028 – Carlton “C. J.” Jackson III, S/WR, 6'1, 180, West Boca Raton. Every year we see younger talent emerge across the state of Florida. Football talent that not only blends in, but from the beginning of their varsity career, that comes in and dominates. Here is one of those gifted players that is coming off a huge sophomore season for the two-time state champions. A prospect that was indeed an impact performer. He had a tremendous season, which included three interceptions, 12 pass break ups, 20 tackles and an amazing five catches for just 60 yards! You know that every college and university is all over this talented young man.

2027 – Jeremiah Sanchez, OLB, 5'10, 190, Lantana Santaluces. When you watch this impressive talent play, the first thing you notice is how he approaches the game. He has a motor that does not stop and has turned into one of the best tacklers on this state playoff team. Whether it's on a running play or being called upon in a blitz package, you had better keep your eyes on this playmaker. He plays this game with plenty of passion – on every play. Colleges will have the chance to watch him during the off-season and into spring. He is indeed fun to watch!
