<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>1.[player_tooltip player_id='152653' first='Zhaiel' last='Smith'] 5-11 180 Central Catholic</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Zhaiel backed up his #1 overall ranking in a big way, catching 35 passes for 739 yards (21.7 ypc) and 12 TDs on the year. He was also impressive on D making 33 total tackles, with 5 PBUs and 1 INT. He earned 1st team all Mt Hood honors, and was one of only three sophomores to rack up all state accolades. Look for him to hold a handful of division 1 offers heading into next season. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>2.[player_tooltip player_id='406755' first='Zyon' last='Floyd'] 5-10 160 Lakeridge</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Floyd was injured early in the year and missed most of the season. That said as he will be one of the state's best, projecting as a 1st team all TRL kid and POY candidate the next two seasons. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>3.[player_tooltip player_id='511859' first='Madden' last='Tanuvasa'] 6-0 175 Mountainside</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Tanuvasa comes from an impressive family with D1 genes. His brother Pepe was one of BYU's leading tacklers this past season at OLB, with brother Layton being the former TRL defensive POY. Madden stepped up big as a sophomore, scoring multiple TDs offensively and earning all-conference honors on D. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>4.[player_tooltip player_id='412221' first='Tyler' last='Hart-McNally'] 5-10 175 West Salem</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Look for Hart-McNally to be a POY candidate the next two seasons. He broke out as a freshman and backed that up nicely this year, with 903 all purpose yards and 6 TDs on 99 touches (9.1 ypc). With the graduation of RB [player_tooltip player_id='515302' first='Marcus' last='Allen'], they will lean on him heavily. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>5.[player_tooltip player_id='285868' first='Danny' last='Wideman'] 5-9 165 West Linn </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Wideman earned 2nd team all TRL honors as a return man but he's much more than that. His overall athleticism (3 sport athlete) and ability in space, will make him one of the most exciting athletes in the state of Oregon to watch on a Friday night. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>6.[player_tooltip player_id='285873' first='Kellen' last='Hicks'] 6-0 165 Mountainside</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>One of the most impressive Sophomore's in the Metro League. He was a standout in the secondary, picking off multiple passes while returning one for a TD. That said as the multi sport athlete could be one of the state's best offensively. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>7.[player_tooltip player_id='407437' first='Tanner' last='Starbuck'] 5-10 165 Stayton </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Expect Starbuck to play a primary role offensively the next two seasons after scoring 5 TDs as a sophomore. He projects on D where he earned 1st team all conference accolades, finishing the season with 73 tackles and 4 INTs. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>8.[player_tooltip player_id='511878' first='D'Marieon' last='Gates'] 5-7 145 Jefferson </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Gates could very well be the player of the year within the conference in the seasons ahead, after earning 1st team all league WR and 2nd team DB honors as a sophomore. He finished the year with 10 TDs, including 2 INTs to the house. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>9.[player_tooltip player_id='407255' first='Brigham' last='Davis'] 5-10 160 Lakeridge </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>The Pacers missed Davis last season after a brutal injury kept him sidelined for the year. He doesn't have prototypical size but if healthy he's one of the best in Oregon. </p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>10.[player_tooltip player_id='407440' first='Jyce' last='Jones'] 6-0 190 Sheldon</p>
<!-- /wp:paragraph -->
<!-- wp:paragraph -->
<p>Another kid most don't know about yet with Sheldon's incredibly deep roster from this past season. The Irish graduate a ton of talent and Jones will get his opportunity. </p>
