There are always standout performers at any camp. These young men shined above the rest where they consistently caught the attention of the coaches and media. And made game-changing plays during camp.
Highlights
As we previously predicted before the showcase, Frank was one of the consensus offensive linemen who stood out among his group. Frank comes from an excellent pedigree from Delbarton who breed solid offensive linemen. Frank put on solid display of fundamentals and good athleticism. Frank was one of the standout offensive line performers and significantly boosted his stock.
Highlights
Grayson stood out as a game-changer among the defensive back. In addition, to having sticky coverage in the one-on-one portion. He displayed good change of direction, the ability to receive coaching, and showed excellent ball skills. I came away very impressed with his overall day and thought he was the best defensive back at the showcase.
Highlights
Reyes started a little slow but picked it up as the one on one portion of the camp began. He had more than one spectacular catch and even had deep post he had to go above the rim and grab. He ended the day winning one of the MVP awards and the respect of all the coaches for his ability to consistently make spectacular catches.
Highlights
Billy had the most consistent day of the quarterbacks which was a tough group to watch overall, to say the least. In terms of consistently hitting every level field, Billy looked like the most polished quarterback. He didn't win MVP, but he earned the respect of the coaches and the media.
Nakeem consistently showed off his uncanny movement ability. He really caught my eyes in the footwork drills where he had arguably the best footwork of any receiver there. Would've liked to see more wins in the one one portion of camp. However, he was one of the standout wide receivers on the day.
