Legacy R1SE Showcase: Underclassmen, Under Center

Over 50 Quarterbacks packed into the Legacy Sports Complex with something to prove. As we know, the QB position is a serious part to a football teams culture and success, and when you get the chance to start a Underclassmen…. That culture is great hand for the next few seasons. When Knight was in 8th Grade, Sterling Heights Stevenson was playing in the Final Four… for a program to be coming off that type of season and looking to an incoming Freshmen to start that following year shows you what kind of player and leader Andrew really is. Let me tell you… Andrew can spin the rock. His quick release and timing is bar none and his understanding of leverage is very impressive. Deuce is even carrying himself with a new confidence and swagger during this off season which is going to carry over to his Sophomore campaign in the fall. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='602435' first='Brody' last='Bester']- Caledonia 2025 <a href="http://Twitter.com/besterbrody">@BesterBrody</a></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With Caledonia High School coming off their best season in years, and having a Mr. Football Finalist at QB graduating… The Fighting Scots are looking for someone to fill those big shoes this fall. Lucky for them, they got [player_tooltip player_id='602435' first='Brody' last='Bester'] ready to pick off where Mason left off. Bester has an absolute cannon for an arm, and his calm pocket presents shows a high level of understanding for the game around him. Brody has great feet, a quick release and great accuracy on the deep ball. The Muskegon native is an absolute jock at the QB spot and put a lot of people on notice at the R1SE Showcase. Coming down to the wire, James was in the conversation for MVP honors out of the group of 50 plus QBs. Young shows great movement in the pocket, beautiful control of his throw with any arm angle, and great accuracy on his deep shots. This was the first time I got the chance to see James throw in person and 100% jumped on my 2025 list from what I saw. Look for big thinks this fall from North Muskegon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
