Continue ReadingThis is a great weekend that was started by Kiery Stribling. Last year he had the Magnolia State All-Star football games as well as basketball games for seniors. This year he has added on the Future Elite games for the sophomores. There has been a lot of great competition going on this weekend. Let’s check out some of the prospects excelling this weekend.
Emile Picarella, QB, St Joseph Catholic School
Emile Picarella needs no introduction. Everybody knows what he brings to the table. He is also a very humble young man. Picarella has been delivering balls on the money this weekend. Picarella is always developing and getting better. He trains with Wyatt Davis who is one of the best trainers in the game. Picarella should have a nice game today. I wouldn’t be surprised if he won MVP. I love the way he plays the game. This weekend he gets to throw the ball to unfamiliar faces. I’m pretty sure he enjoyed that.
Jermarj Bell Jermarj Bell 5'7" | 150 lbs | WR Northside | 2025 State MS , WR, Northside
Bell has a nice combination of routes that he excels with. He has a very quick release off the line. He also knows how to stay online with his routes. His way of getting back to his spot or where he wants to be in his route is amazing. He isn’t the biggest guy on the field. Bell just plays with a lot of heart and knows how to get open. I think that a good camp circuit this summer will help get his name out there. He reminds me of Rufus Harvey that plays for Mississippi State. Bell can get the job done.
Kenzy West Kenzy West 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Hartfield Academy | 2025 State MS , WR, Hartfield Academy
West is another guy who does a nice job of running routes. He is very talented and knows how to get separation from defenders. He has done a good job in 1v1s this weekend. West has a nice frame that he can grow into as well. My first time seeing him was at the Southern Elite Combine in Wesson, MS last June. He stood out the same way he is standing out this weekend in Decatur. West is a guy that you definitely want to keep up with. There aren’t many guys out there who will be able to shut him down. He’s a dude. Be sure to keep up with his journey.
Zadarran Hart Zadarran Hart 6'0" | 170 lbs | ATH Madison Central | 2025 State MS , WR, St, Joseph Catholic School
Hart has come out this weekend showing that he can run some nice routes. He is a guy that I have become a fan of. I’m ready to see him line up and dominate the islands this weekend. Hart has a lot of heart. He is a spark for the Bruins, and he will be a spark for his team this weekend. I expect to see him making a lot of plays later on this evening. He is a guy that loves to make plays. Expect to see his recruiting to start to pick up soon. He is a good player that understands the game. I can see him playing division one football.
