Hart has shown that he can play nearly every position on the field. From receiver to safety and kicker Hart is truly a Jack-of-All-Trades. This is due to the fact that ZaDarran possesses great instinct and athletic ability. Any opportunity to be on the field is capitalized upon with utmost effort. His value as a prospect is important to note as he can be a reliable plug and play athlete for various programs.

Zadarran “Zay” Hart is a 2025 prospect out of St. Joseph (Madison) who has shown the makings of an exemplary football player. His approach to the game and how well he understands his position is what stood out to me, offensively and defensively. The 5’10 165 pound WR/S does not wow you in terms of measurables such as speed, stature, or explosiveness, true enough. However, there is a smoothness and fluidity to his game that you rarely see in prospects his age. Hart is an above average route runner, but he is adept to using his routes to create space when working against man coverage. He has limited tape on the defensive side of the ball, but I believe that he can develop into a reliable Defensive Back as well. This summer will be pivotal for Zay and how his career path will be shaped. I look for Zay Hart’s production to increase this fall with 2023 prospect Carter Walker exiting and moving on to better things. If Hart can get in the lab and work on his craft, there is no doubt in my mind that him and 2025 prospect Emile Picarella will be a treacherous tandem in the next couple of years.
