I made a point to dive deep into the Quarterbacks of the 2026 class. In fact, I have detailed notes on every player in the 2026 database. In this article, I'd like to share my evaluations from three of the most intriguing Watch List QBs!

[player_tooltip player_id='566976' first='Anthony' last='Bitoni'] | De La Salle

PA Rollout (Great)
Throw on the run (Good)
Proven runner (Great)
IQ (Great)
Competition and coaching staff (Elite)

Weaknesses:

Janky form (Poor)
Throw Power (Poor)
Few tough throws
Top speed (average)

An interesting Freshman prospect that has a LOT of competition at DLS, but the best coaching staff in Michigan. He was a good QB as a freshman on the freshman team. Great in option situations and play action. Some runs are great but will need to become more athletic to match runs on the Varsity level.

His Trajectory is elite because of what I know about De La Salle, his measurables, his performance this season, and his DB ability. Proven team, proven coaches, with an easy P5 2023 QB.

Could change the offensive position if QB doesn't work out. He is a good DB.

Trajectory: Too early

[player_tooltip player_id='566978' first='Brady' last='Thomas'] | Brother Rice

Strengths
Strong arm (Excellent)
Throw power (Good)
Elusiveness (Good)
IQ (Good)

Weaknesses
General fundamentals (Average)
Speed (Poor)
Athletic ability (Average)

Even though his athletic ability isn't the best, Brady makes the most of it. He did what he could to run the ball and took advantage of laughable run defense on the JV level. As a passer, he has a rocket arm. Can be seen throwing 50 yards downfield with good accuracy. Could turn into one of the best passers in this class. Overall, I am very optimistic for Brady's trajectory but I'd say it's too early to predict where he'll end up.

[player_tooltip player_id='566987' first='Ryland' last='Watters'] | Rochester Adams

I think Watters will be an elite Veer QB like [player_tooltip player_id='241265' first='Parker' last='Picot'] was, but that doesn't come with great college outlook.

Strengths
Veer IQ (Elite)
Downhill running (Great)
Speed (Good)
Motor (Great)

Weaknesses
Will probably always be an unproven passer
Offensive Veer Scheme

Watters will be an excellent Veer quarterback and is on his way to continuing Adams's great success. Though Veer QBs do not and typically should not receive a ton of college attention at the pro-style Qb position. Running the ball (quite literally) 95% of the time does not look great for colleges.

Although [player_tooltip player_id='241265' first='Parker' last='Picot'] received a Central Michigan offer for Football, I have a hard time thinking he could start at QB. Picot is an elite Veer QB but I've seen him throw bad balls in must-pass situations. Same will be assumed about Watters until PROVEN otherwise.
In addition, Watters is a left-handed thrower. From what I am aware, many colleges strongly prefer right-handed QBs. I don't doubt that Ryland is an incredible athlete and has the potential to play college football, but he'll need to prove his throwing ability in the offseason to get college QB offers. I am delighted to see that Watters seems to be an elite baseball prospect.
