For the better part of a decade EForce football has been one of the most successful football organizations in the West. Back in 2015 & 2016, before 7v7 teams resided everywhere within the region, EForce (Team Oregon) traveled to the national tournament in Las Vegas advancing to the quarterfinals one year and the semifinals the next, with 120+ teams in attendance.

Alex Brink (Wash St/NFL) and Ryan Depalo (Oregon), former NFL and D1 athletes themselves, have led the organization from the beginning. The recipe for success has been consistency and an unwavering commitment to the kids.

Looking ahead to this season EForce wasted no time making a statement, winning the first Pylon tournament of the year up in Seattle, by defeating a very talented Team Lillard group 20-19 in the final.

EForce finished the tourney (5-1), with their only loss coming 13-7 on a botched call, to a Cali squad with double digit D1 athletes.

One of the state's top 2025 recruits [player_tooltip player_id='285852' first='Avirey' last='Durdahl'] played lights out at QB, with fellow LO Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='285866' first='Liam' last='Davis'] doing some of the same. TE [player_tooltip player_id='152339' first='Jayden' last='Fortier'] backed up the hype, dominating opponents while scoring multiple TDs in the title game. When all is said and done Fortier has the potential of being the top recruit in the class in my opinion, already holding offers from Arizona St, Colorado St, and Nevada. Aiden Brown out of Kalama HS, one of the most explosive athletes in the Northwest, was named the Offensive MVP.

Heading into this weekend's 7v7 tournament in Arizona, we take a look at the rest of the group who should have the team in title contention again.

Two of the state's top DB's and overall recruits, [player_tooltip player_id='152355' first='AJ' last='Noland'] and [player_tooltip player_id='152344' first='Hunter' last='Haines'], are the type of kids who you need if you want to win on a national level. Both project as multi offer D1 athletes and Oregon POY candidates next season.

6-4 195-pound WR/S [player_tooltip player_id='154326' first='Luke' last='Womack'] of Nelson HS ranks as my #3 WR state wide for the 2024 class. He earned all Mt Hood honors on both sides of the football, finishing as one of the 6A leaders in INTs as well.

8th grader Josiah Molden has the potential of being one of the top players in America for his class, with fellow Three Rivers League athletes [player_tooltip player_id='511789' first='Conor' last='Croteau'] and Colin Best being two big reasons why LO should rank as a top 5 team next year.

EForce has done a great job attracting some of Southwest Washington's top athletes. Separate from last week's MVP Aiden Brown, Gavin Packer of Skyview HS projects as one of WA's best for 2025. His 1st team all-conference accolades on both sides of the football as a sophomore, in the brutally tough GSHL, speaks to his game. Teammate Cameron Crooks earned 1st team all league honors as well.

2024 WR/S Trenton Swanson of Camas HS had an impressive Junior season, finishing with 61 receptions for 920 yards and 11 TDs.

Don't sleep on the undersized but very talented [player_tooltip player_id='346506' first='Tommy' last='Pempel'] of Lincoln HS. He came up clutch with two huge plays in last week's tourney, catching a tip pass for the win versus Game Ready, and the extra point to win the championship. OLB [player_tooltip player_id='524065' first='Kiva' last='Jackson'] of Roosevelt is another PIL kid who has upped his stock.

Metro League standouts [player_tooltip player_id='278374' first='Blake' last='Hurley'] of Sunset and [player_tooltip player_id='285867' first='Grant' last='Valley'] of Jesuit round out the Showtime Roster. Hurley will be a three year all Metro athlete, with the speedster Valley projecting as one of the fastest rising athletes in the conference.

EForce Football has a chance to have a special season. The youth movement is on track with numerous 25s getting in the mix, including both QBs. In summary, I can't say enough good things about the program and the people who run it. We will keep you updated as the year progresses.
