Today we move into the Offensive Line position. Most people will think this is the most important position on the football field. I firmly believe that, good teams always have a good run game, and good defenses know to take it away. Games go a lot smoother when you can just hand the ball to you RB and he has a wide open gap to run through. A couple of these players on my list today are kids I have watched for a couple years. Also a few that are new names to me and definitely stood out on tape. Give them a look below!

[player_tooltip player_id='101173' first='Charlie' last='Prien']- Hanson, Highlights

Prien has been a kid who's tape I have enjoyed watching over the last few years. He also has so much to talk about when it comes to his play on the football field. His biggest asset on the football field is his mean-streak out there. Each and every block he makes has a lot of ferocious energy and he really punishes the defenders in his path. I like how he uses his leverage to get the opponent off balance. Once he has the upper hand, his high motor takes care of the rest, burying his defender every play. Of course to go a long with all that is his quickness off the snap and the muscle to be in control of every block.

[player_tooltip player_id='276832' first='Jake' last='Vanhout']- McCook Central Montrose, Highlights

The first two clips of VanHout's tape looks like the big kid at recess knocking over the smaller kids. The effortless look of shoving the defenders out of the way for his ballcarriers is awesome! He is quick off the snap as well and does a good job making first contact on his blocking assignment. I like his motor as well, and how he keeps driving until his the whistle. His size makes him stand out on the field, but his footwork makes him really jump out on tape, his wide stance and how quick his step are.

[player_tooltip player_id='234186' first='Aidan' last='Brower']- Sioux Valley, Highlights

Brower is the one of those kids to run behind most of the games. His technique his 100% solid and that makes his tape so much fun to watch. Another one who will always have leverage and will use that to his advantage. I really like how he gets to the defender with excellent pad level and finishes the play. He has good footwork as well, and even if he loses his feet, he keeps driving and widening his gap. When he climbs levels and the second level isn't ready, someone of the defense is getting laid out.

[player_tooltip player_id='273640' first='Aden' last='Scott']- O'Gorman, Highlights

Scott is a Center that can move, and a kid that can spark a run game. It's tough to snap and ball and move a big, quick keep no less than a couple inches away from you. Scott could manhandle that guy and really open a run gap for his offense. He got the ball off quick and dug in his heels and made blocks wherever and however he needed to. His hand technique really stood out to me with how quick he was able to get them in position to be clean and effective in the trenches. The last 'wow' factor he had was his swift feet, always getting in prime position to block for the offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='315065' first='Trace' last='Ortman']- Canistota, Highlights

Ortman just wanted to put a kid to the turf after every one of his snaps. Once the ball left his hand he was finding a body to bury. A good low center-of-gravity and technique in both his hands and feet made him a very good blocker in the pass and run game. Another one of those high-motor kids that wasn't quitting until the job was done. He had the strength to fend off defenders that may tower over him in height and size and make blocking them look easy. I also liked how he brought the defender wherever he wanted him to go.
