<p>The "big boys" of Class 5A featured some incredibly talented athletic wide receivers this past fall.</p>

<p>A pair of 1,000-yard guys shined bright, as they also recorded over 10 touchdowns each. As for the state's largest classification, seven players caught at least 50 passes.</p>

<p><strong>First Team - [player_tooltip player_id='247562' first='Jalen' last='Lueth'] - Ames - Senior</strong></p>

<p>Some might have slept on [player_tooltip player_id='247562' first='Jalen' last='Lueth'] out of Ames, but that was a mistake. The incredibly gifted senior recorded 86 receptions and 1,339 yards, numbers that led all of Class 5A. He turned that into 13 touchdowns on the year, averaging 15.6 yards per catch.</p>

<p><strong>Second Team - [player_tooltip player_id='152853' first='Kelynn' last='Jacobsen'] - Sioux City East - Senior</strong></p>

<p>Another of the 80-plus catch, 1,000-yard duo, [player_tooltip player_id='152853' first='Kelynn' last='Jacobsen'] of Sioux City East was a monster on the gridiron. He recorded 80 receptions in all for 1,074 yards with a 5A-leading 15 touchdowns. His 13.4 yards per catch helped East constantly stretch the field.</p>

<p><strong>Third Team - [player_tooltip player_id='24030' first='Jamison' last='Patton'] - Ankeny - Senior</strong></p>

<p>The future Iowa State Cyclone paired quite nicely with fellow future Cyclone [player_tooltip player_id='104081' first='JJ' last='Kohl'] in their one season together, as [player_tooltip player_id='24030' first='Jamison' last='Patton'] caught 62 passes for 821 yards with six touchdowns, averaging over 13 yards per reception.</p>

<p><strong>Honorable Mention</strong></p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='247561' first='Ayden' last='Price'] of West Des Moines Valley added his name to a long list of talented Tigers, while [player_tooltip player_id='104721' first='Walker' last='Tart'] from Dubuque Senior, [player_tooltip player_id='224282' first='Cooper' last='Nicholson'] out of West Des Moines Dowling and Des Moines Roosevelt's [player_tooltip player_id='104764' first='George' last='Williams'] were all talented in their own right. Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='252231' first='DeShawn' last='Long'] of Ames had himself a breakout campaign, as well.</p>
