Once Luke Fickell left for Wisconsin, there was quite a bit of chatter surrounding Cincinnati recruits, with many withdrawing their commitment. This season, Mason proved to be a top QB in this class and was in the Mr. Football conversation throughout the year. This season, Mac went into the season as one of the biggest wildcards; we didn't know what to expect from him. After playing receiver his Junior season, Mac took the helm at QB after the dominant Zak Ahern graduated. From the jump, Mac was impressive. It's a bit sad, but what a glorious career it was for him. Parker goes down as one of the best QBs in Rochester Adams history, and he exemplified what it means to be a Veer Quarterback.
