On the season he rushed for 1,152 yards, averaged over 7 yards per carry with 10 rushing touchdowns and six 100 yard rushing games. He also added nine catches for 84 yards and one touchdown through the air. As a full-time starter he rushed for 1,208 yards, averaged an outstanding 8 yards per carry; with 13 rushing touchdowns and six 100 yard rushing games. He averaged 121 yards rushing per game. He also chipped in with eight catches for 81 yards. He led the team with 1,025 yards rushing, averaged over 5.8 yards per carry with 12 rushing touchdowns and for 100 yard rushing games. He averaged 2.5 yards per game. He also had six receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown. Mitchell was selected a first team All-Area player. The sophomore Prospect finished second on the team with 806 yards, average 5.1 yards per carry with eight touchdowns and four 100 yd rushing games. He also chipped in with four catches for 43 yards.
