He has elite vision and short area quickness with breakaway speed in the open field and is a natural runner that can get behind his pads and deliver a blow. A four year starter for one of the best small school teams in the state, his high school career has been one of the best we have seen in a long time. During his Senior year, he broke the all-time redwood empire rushing record and rushed for 1,900+ yards and 29 TD's. He shows good vision in tight windows, has cutback abilities and has third level speed to pull away in the open field. He is another physical and bruising back that is low to the ground and very well put together that once he gets going, is hard to bring down due to pad level and leg drive. He is one of the more violent players across the Bay Area on either side, and has elite explosion, lateral quickness in the hole and is a natural pass catcher out of the backfield with soft hands. Having a natural forward lean and good first level acceleration, he hits the hole quickly and shows contact balance when running through traffic.
