KJ Lacey KJ Lacey 6’1″ | 170 lbs | QB Saraland | 2025 State AL had a massive breakout season this fall for Saraland- Ryan Williams Ryan Williams 6’1″ | 160 lbs | WR Saraland | 2024 AL , Santae McWilliams Jr Santae McWilliams Jr 5’9″ | 175 lbs | RB Saraland | 2025 State AL , and him have become an unstoppable trio with Lacey under center. Last season, Lacey was able to throw for 3177 yards and 40(!) touchdowns and led his team to a 14-1 record with a state championship win. Lacey’s arm talent is fantastic, he can flat out sling it downfield but has incredible touch and accuracy as well- no window is too tight to throw into and his confidence out on the field is super impressive as a sophomore. Lacey has picked up a bunch of great collegiate attention this year, receiving offers from Auburn, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and more! Lacey is off to a great start as Saraland’s quarterback- keep track of him next year- he’s got tons of talent!
Charlie Johnston Charlie Johnston 6’5″ | 190 lbs | QB Moody | 2025 State AL had an impressive second year starting for Mountain Brook last fall, helping lead them to a 13-3 record with a 6A state championship appearance against Saraland. Johnston has some impressive arm talent- he can move the ball downfield really well with his arm strength and has the ability to accurately deliver the ball through a bunch of tight windows as well. Johnston has already been picking up some traction no the recruiting trail as well- he received an offer from Pittsburgh awhile back!
Highlights
Kameron Keenan Kameron Keenan 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Ramsay | 2025 State AL had a great sophomore year last fall, the 2025 led Ramsay to a state championship win over Charles Henderson and put up some really good numbers in his second season. Throughout the fall, Keenan completed 57% of his passes for 1828 for 17 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. Keenan has some great improvisational skills, he can make throws on the run/outside the pocket and gives a good dual threat option for his offense with his ability to use his legs to evade defenders and make plays on the ground. Keep an eye on him and Ramsay next fall! They’re a great duo to watch.
