2025 Newcomers: 2023 January Update

In today's article, we are going to take a look at several newcomers that have the potential to do big things over the next few years. Several names you may already be familiar with and the others you will become familiar with very quickly.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='498092' first='Tate' last='Spray']-Offensive Line-Centerpoint</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='498092' first='Tate' last='Spray'] is an offensive lineman that uses his quick feet extremely well. Spray had a tremendous season for Centerpoint. He is quick out of his stance and gets into the opposing defensive lineman quickly. Spray is a strong individual, and he uses his hands well to overpower opposing defensive lineman. He is a prospect that I expect to have a strong 2023 season and he is someone to watch out for over the next few years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='533490' first='Kyle' last='Reed']-Running Back-Arkadelphia</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Arkadelphia running back is a prospect that shows impressive speed. He is a prospect that is dangerous in the open field. Reed does a great job of allowing rushing lanes to develop and explode through the hole. He is a running back that is a dangerous runner in the open field. Reed can catch passes out of the backfield and does a good job of lining up at wide receiver as well. Reed is a running back to keep an eye on over the next two seasons after putting together an impressive 2022 season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='503573' first='Ronny' last='Anokye']-Running Back-Little Rock Christian</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Little Rock Christian does not have a problem producing talented players. Anokye does an excellent job of exploding through the rushing lane. He has good vision and knows when to make a cut to get into the open field. Anokye looks to finish every run and does not mind delivering punishment to opposing defenders. The Little Rock Christian Warriors are a talented football team and I look for Anokye to receive plenty of carries in 2023. Keep an eye out for this talented running back.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413555' first='Antonio' last='Jordan']-Wide Receiver-Warren</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Lumberjacks continue to produce division one caliber wide receivers every season. Antonio Warren does a great job of being able to high point the football. Warren uses his impressive athletic ability to create separation from opposing defensive backs. With a scholarship offer from the Arkansas Razorbacks already in his possession, I look for him to explode from a recruiting perspective over the next few months. He has the potential to be the next great wide receiver from Warren to hit the division one fields.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='525562' first='Ethan' last='Hurst']-Offensive Line-Van Buren</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='525562' first='Ethan' last='Hurst'] is a versatile offensive lineman for the Pointers. He does a great job and looks to finish every block. Hurst has good quickness out of the snap and getting into the opposing defensive lineman. From a run blocking perspective, Hurst does an impressive job of driving the opposing defensive lineman backward. Meanwhile, from the pass blocking side of things, Hurst does a good job of giving his quarterbacks time to throw the ball. Keep an eye on Hurst, he has the potential to see action on Saturdays in the future.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='413537' first='Jonah' last='Walker']-Tight End-Marked Tree</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='413537' first='Jonah' last='Walker'] is a prospect that is extremely versatile. He sees action on both sides of the ball. On the offensive side of the ball, Walker is an efficient blocker at the tight end position. As a receiver, Walker is an impressive wide receiver and uses his speed well to create separation. He is another prospect that has no trouble in high pointing the football. I look for him to be a prospect for folks to keep an eye on over the next few years.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
