Bass is a defensive lineman that can legitimately win shading or head-up on guards or tackles. A multi-tech lineman that wins with great upper-body strength. His tape shows he can be disciplined when unblocked or targeted as the man left unblocked against RPO sets. Great feel for the flow of the play. McCoy earned Co-Lineman of the Year in his conference, a huge accolade to boast about. 7-minute tape shows how difficult it can be for opposing guards to not only match his strength but even lock arms against McCoy. The reps where McCoy is driven off the ball and steered are few and far between. This massive trench player will undoubtedly see interest on both sides of the ball. Good thing for McCoy, he's already ahead of the curve. McCoy's offensive line reps are equally as dominant as his IDL reps. Fun tape to watch.
