Harsin transferred into Eagle this Winter coming from Auburn High School in Alabama, and is no stranger to Idaho high school football. He has good size at 6’1″ and a strong lower body while moving well in the pocket and showing quick processing and a very high football IQ when scanning the backend. Showing a strong arm downfield, he can make off-platform throws and fits the ball into tight windows while throwing his receivers open downfield and able to hit the back shoulder throws. He will only continue to develop and progress through this off-season and should be a big name on the camp circuit this off-season and will collect Division I interest sooner rather than later.
Johnson is a very athletic tackle that can play on either side at the next level. He is strong at the POA and a natural bender with quick feet and a balanced lower half. On tape, he shows he can finish blocks and can pull/scrape to the second level and moves well for his size. At 6’3″, 235 pounds, he will only continue to grow over the next year and a half and should draw D-III+ interest through his Senior season. A sure fire breakout candidate in this 2024 class, he will be one of the better tackles across the region this Fall.
Willis checks in at 6’3 190 pounds and is one of the better passers across the region and will be one of the best quarterbacks available in the 2024 class across Idaho. He has good pocket presence, can evade traffic from various angles and keeps his eyes downfield while able to fit the ball into tight windows and throw across his body to the opposite hash. Putting nice spin on the ball over the top with zip, he moves safeties with his eyes consistently and is another high IQ kid that has college level potential.
Minnaert is a punishing vertical runner that runs tough in-between the tackles but also flashes some under-rated second level speed and quickness when bouncing it outside. He gets behind his pads and is tough to bring down once he gets going, while showing contact balance and natural forward lean through the hole. Smooth for his size, he shows some short area quickness in the hole and sudden movement abilities. He should fit well in the right system at the next level as a bruising runner and should see D-III+ interest as he goes through his Senior season and this off-season.
TE Cal Huish, Eagle HS
Huish is a very long and rangy tight end prospect with ideal size and length at the next level and passes the initial eye test. Very effective in the run game, he gets off the ball with good power and pad level, finishes blocks downfield and shows good leg drive and a wide base through contact. He will only pack on more weight to his frame and fill out, but will fit nicely as a in-line tight end at the college level due to his blocking ability and strength at the POA.
