2023 Rankings Update: Stockrisers (Part 2)

We already introduced you to some movers in the Class of 2023 rankings.   But this list? Consider these guys the huge shakers. Every one of these players jumped at least 50 spots from September to January.    They had monster senior seasons and were often making noise right on through November and into December. They piled up local and statewide honors. And they stormed right on up our boards in the process.   [player_tooltip player_id='263155' first='Jaylin' last='William Davis'] LB, South Florence (Up 50)   We had a good feeling about Davis (pictured) heading into the year. He proved us right with eye-popping defensive numbers start to finish.   [player_tooltip player_id='202756' first='Brody' last='Tesimale'] LB, Catawba Ridge (Up 51)   Returned from an injury-shortened junior season to put up 89.5 total tackles and wreak all sorts of havoc for the Copperheads.   [player_tooltip player_id='146381' first='Zach' last='Hagedon'] DB, Oceanside Collegiate (Up 61)   Hagedon was a Fab 50 selection for a reason. He did so many different things well it was just a matter of where we put him.   [player_tooltip player_id='202739' first='Scott' last='Saylor'] QB, Carolina Forest (Up 63)   What Saylor was doing at the end of the season was something out of a video game. His numbers were that ridiculous.   [player_tooltip player_id='443499' first='AJ' last='Miller'] DL, South Pointe (Up 68)   Factor in his 13.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks, and Miller (73 total tackles) was the complete package for the Stallions.    [player_tooltip player_id='262679' first='Taeshaun' last='Sellers'] WR, Hannah-Pamplico (Up 68)   You can't pretend to have game speed. Sellers has plenty of it, and his senior season put it on display time and again.   [player_tooltip player_id='336117' first='Hunter' last='Puckett'] ATH, Westside (Up 69)   One-part defensive end, one-part running back, Puckett showed out in Myrtle Beach during the Touchstone Energy Bowl.   [player_tooltip player_id='336149' first='Mike' last='Gillard'] LB, Myrtle Beach (Up 77)   To think Gillard didn't play football two years ago is just sort of insane. We're not done hearing about him, either.   [player_tooltip player_id='313408' first='Mikey' last='Rosa'] LB, Wando (Up 78)   The Citadel is getting a blue-collar linebacker who can stop just about anyone on offense from doing their thing.   [player_tooltip player_id='336146' first='Kacy' last='Fields'] ATH, Beaufort (Up 83)   All Fields did in three quarters of a season at tailback was dominate everyone he played against.    [player_tooltip player_id='411696' first='Deamonti' last='Garrett'] DL, Lower Richland (Up 84)   The end had the strength to shift inside when necessary, and it's why he ended his senior season with 74 solo tackles.    [player_tooltip player_id='336150' first='Evin' last='Singletary'] WR, South Florence (Up 87)   In helping South to the Class 4A state title, Singletary piled up 49 receptions for 1,169 yards and 15 touchdowns.    [player_tooltip player_id='443517' first='Will' last='Jenison'] OL, South Aiken (Up 115)   In a class full of excellent offensive lineman, Jenison was a stabilizing force for one of the state's best rushing attacks.
