Continue ReadingKamden is a threat any time he lines up. He beats blockers with his speed, athleticism and hand combat. When he gets to the quarter back you can expect him to try to knock the ball out consistently. I had the opportunity to watch Kamden play in his game against Mount St. Joseph, where he made play after play sometimes even back-to-back. The ceiling for Kamden is high, keep a close eye on him as he continues to become more dominant.
Washington is emerging as one of the best players in the state after leading Spalding to a championship with the hefty numbers he put up. He has the size you look for in a young quarterback and is oozing with arm talent. Expect his recruiting to take a big leap with another impressive season.
Named 4-star and #7 in the country this post season, O’Connell didn’t disappoint. He continuously drops hi punts within the 10-yard line, including a 59 yarder in his game against Life Christian (Va.). This season he was named to the All-Metro team due to his performance and earned an invitation back to the 2023 Khol’s Future Stars specialists’ camp.
Shipps is a playmaker on the edge of the defense, having him on your team is an advantage. He is a true cornerback who shows discipline in coverage and in the run game. He does a good job of funneling the run inside then going to make the play. He high points the ball on deep passes and has some power behind his hits. So far Shipps holds offers from Maryland and Boston College.
Highlights
Lowder is a lengthy DB/LB that can make plays down the field and behind the line of scrimmage. He lurks the secondary in zone coverage and shows some man-to-man skills batting away passes. In the run game he’s a sure tackler and can separate the receiver from the ball. Nasir was recently mentioned in the New 2025 LB’s You Need to Know article earlier this month.
