Revell stood out early with his motor. He’s a relentless worker and it’s noticeable right away. When the ball is snapped, he’s 100 miles an hour all the time. He is a high effort guy and will find a way to win if his initial surge doesn’t hit home. He’s coach-able, was able to move around the line, and looked good in his 1 on 1s. He’s got a lower center of gravity which helps his leverage and him to win low more often than not. He’s able to split gabs and make a tough tackle behind the line of scrimmage. He looks good in person and feels like the kind of person who could come in, develop, and be a menace to the run game. A good recruit with a fantastic day who put himself on the map.

Emmitt Gogel Emmitt Gogel 6'5" | 320 lbs | OL Heritage Hills | 2024 State IN – Heritage Hills – OL – 6’5″ 320lbs – 2024
I immediately loved watching Gogel work. He’s a massive body guy who is able to control that frame. His 6’5″ 320lbs is legit and there’s no doubt about it. He towers over people and looks good just standing around. He’s got incredibly powerful hands and can shock the defender with how strong he is. His arms are insanely long and he’s able to redirect people before they can even touch him. He’s not bad with some pass protection footwork and some other areas could use some work. A guy with that size and frame is usually a bit further behind with hand eye coordination with how big they are but that’s not the case here. Gogel is a decent athlete who can bend, go on the move, or go into pass protection. He’s fairly smart and it’s one of the traits you notice right away. It helps his game and once you learn he wants to be an engineer, everything about Gogel makes much more sense. He’s calculated on the football field and checks a ton of boxes. The raw athletsicm, size, and being as coachable as he is will go a long way for his future.

Trevor Whitney – Spencerville (OH) – OL – 6’3″ 305lbs – 2025
Whitney another out-of-state recruit who took great advantage of the opportunity that laid in front of him this past Saturday. He’s a young recruit who looks fairly good for his age. The size is real and he carries it well. In terms of pass protection and foot work, you can tell he works hard. He’s not quite there yet, but he’s much further along than people his age. He’s good in the run game and is able to attack the right shoulder when needed. He’s got fantastic raw arm strength and has some of the best feet in terms of anchoring for pass protection. As young as he is, I would’ve never guessed it. He looks good, he checks almost every box you’re looking for, and had himself a fantastic day. In short, Whitney is a fantastic young upcoming Ohio recruit who had a great day across the Indiana border.

Andy Lewis Andy Lewis 6'5" | 310 lbs | OL Bloomington North | 2025 State IN – Bloomington North – OL – 6’4″ 300lbs – 2025
this is another fantastic recruit who came in and did exactly what he needed to do. He’s a massive frame who looks good on the football field. He’s young, still growing, and still has a chance to get even bigger. The way it stands now, his frame and height give him leverage regularly and he’s incredible in the running game. He’s able to blow guys off the ball and make an impactful block by burying that guy. He’s decent on the move and is able to set his feet in pass protections. His hand placement could use some work over the next few years, but a minor thing that feels knit-picky at this stage of his development. He was able to pass off pass rushers without an issue and the communication was clean. There was a lot of promise in some of those drills alone. He’s a raw upcoming recruit with all the intangibles on a football field. Big things are in store for Lewis down the road and he’s still just getting started.

Zaire Washington – Withrow – LB/RB – 5’11” 205lbs – 2024
Washington probably had the most fun out of anybody at the camp. He’s a fun personality who just likes to be around football and that’s what I took away most. During the 1 on 1 drills he went back and forth between RB and LB and he looked good. Defensively, he was able to track the near hip and close with the right angle to make the play. Offensively, he was having fun. So much so, I started to joke with him that he was looking like Kadarius Toney with some of his cuts. He was able to make guys miss, stop on a dime, and change direction like he had been playing RB his entire life. He showed good range and a decent ability to diagnose, come downhill, and make the play. An overall great day for a guy looking for a fresh start and he used the showcase exactly what it was for, to perform and get your name out there.
