State Playoffs Fifth-Round Top Performers

Great teams competed in the regional finals across the state and there were some great individual performances in the games. I am doing a review of five of the best regional finals performances.   [player_tooltip player_id='203888' first='Mason' last='Fortune'] - QB, 6'1" 195 (No. 3 QB, No. 12 Overall), Millbrook HS. Mason has displayed the ability to perform under pressure in the big games. He completed 18 of 44 passes for 243 yards and 1 TD. He completed 40.9 percent of his passes along with 2 interceptions. Mason finished the game with a QB rating of 47.8.   [player_tooltip player_id='421109' first='Mitchell' last='Summers'] - RB, 5'6" 150 (No. 10 RB, Watchlist), Grimsley HS. Mitchell is one of the top young running backs in the state. He had 22 carries for 119 yards and 3 TDs. He averaged 5.4 yards per carry in the game.   [player_tooltip player_id='190663' first='Terrell' last='Anderson'] - WR, 6'3" 185 (No. 7 WR, No. 15 Overall), Grimsley HS. Terrell is one of the top 2024 receivers in the state. He had 6 receptions for 104 yards and 1 TD. He averaged 17.3 yards per reception in the game. Terrell is difficult to defend in man-coverage.   [player_tooltip player_id='303087' first='Avery' last='Gaby'] - FB, 6'0" 205 (No. 25 RB, No. 206 Overall), East Duplin HS. Avery is a tough runner with a high number of carries each game. He had 24 carries for 139 yards and 2 TDs. Avery averaged 5.8 yards per carry in the game.   Mason Satterfield - RB, 5'9" 170, Tarboro HS. Mason is one of the top young running backs in the state. He had 15 carries for 191 yards and 2 TDs. Mason averaged 12.7 yards per carry in the game.
