He was competing and giving his all in every drill. You could really see how great of an athlete he is. His play strength was apparent in one-on-one drills and also in his tape from the 2022 season. Nichols knocks defenders on the ground on down blocks. I love that he will keep his feet driving to the whistle and finish blocks. Nichols has the ideal size for the offensive tackle position at 6-5, 315 lbs. He was very good in one-one-ones and showed a lot of ability. Engelberg has the ideal size for the defensive line position at 6-2, 240 lbs. On tape, Engelberg reads screens very well and has the quickness to run down ball carriers. Engelberg does a great job of pulling on run plays when on the offensive line and will attack defenders with no fear. He plays with good leverage defensively and can fight off blocks with ease. Engelberg is a great player who was a key piece to <strong>Caledonia</strong>'<strong>s</strong> successful season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>#34 | [player_tooltip player_id='551269' first='Carter' last='Hladki'] | Birmingham Groves | LB | <a href="http://www.hudl.com/v/2Jk4Lq">Hudl</a></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hladki did very well in every drill. He showed a lot of ability in coverage and has very fluid movements. On tape, you see his ability to run sideline to sideline and make tackles. He is a physical player who does not back away from contact. Hladki does a good job of reading where the ball carrier is going and then flying up under control to make a tackle. He does a good job of using his agility and quickness to get past offensive linemen when blitzing. I liked watching him throw the football and he showed off good accuracy. Wolf had very impressive tape this past season. He throws the ball with tremendous touch and can hit receivers right in stride. He has a smooth drop back and does a good job of standing tall and composed in the pocket. Wolf can throw the ball accuratley rolling to his right. I love that he is not afriad to throw the ball into tight windows over the middle. He really can put some zip on the football and throw a very tight spirral. Wolf can hit the fade route with no problem and has completed it mulitple times in the endzone last season. Wolf will scramble and pick up yardage when receivers are covered down field. He has good play strength and can break tackles. <strong>Grand Rapids Catholic Central</strong> had an outstanding season this past year and Wolf played a big role in the team's success. Wolf enters his senior year in 2023 and will look to finish strong to a great career. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
