In 2022, Elias helped the Taft Senators to an 11-win season, held opposing offenses to 7.9 points per game and advance to the 4th round of the playoffs. He plays as a DE. Against the pass, he shows excellent burst off the ball and uses his great athleticism as he executes a spin move to defeat the block from the OT. He displays very good closing speed in pursuit before finishing up with a sack. Against the run, he uses his good length and play strength to shed the block from the OT. He locates the RB while taking good angles in pursuit before making the stop behind the LOS for a TFL.
In 2022, Angelo helped the Pickerington North Panthers to a 7-win season, held opposing offenses to 18.2 points per game and advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs. He plays as a DE. Against the pass, he uses his excellent play strength to walk the OT back before shedding the block. He plays with a good motor in pursuit and finishes up with a sack. Against the run, he effectively uses his play strength and hands to shed the block from the OT. He quickly locates the ballcarrier and takes good angles in pursuit before making the tackle preventing a gain of significant yardage.
