The Ottawa-Kent Green is one of the most talented leagues in Michigan. Housing multiple state championship contenders plus multiple up and coming teams, this is a league to watch. This article will outline five amazing outgoing seniors, and discuss what they meant for their respective programs.

OT | D'Andre Hudgins | Muskegon

Hudgins is everything you'd want in an offensive tackle, and he doesn't have ANY offers! The 6'3 offensive tackle has only improved during his time at Muskegon, and he's faced amazing competition. His various All-State selections are no mistake, as he dominated every defensive end that doesn't have Division 1 offers. Even against those elite defensive ends, he had some bright spots. There is a ton of upside with Hudgins, and although he has some things to work on, he's a college prospect. How D3 teams (at the very least) haven't come calling is beyond me. Hudgins was a massive part of the Muskegon offense, and he will be sorely missed.

RB | [player_tooltip player_id='243089' first='Dahmir' last='Farnum'] | Mona Shores

Farnum is an extremely well-known and well-feared player in West Michigan. An all-state back, he dominated OK-Green backfields for the past four years and was a headache for opposing teams. I can say with a high degree of certainty that Farnum has been the best Running Back in the OK-Green, and it's going to be strange seeing Mona Shores without him next season!

ATH | Skyler Geurink | Zeeland West

Skyler is speed. Running a 10.89 100M and a 49.22 400M, he's been an incredibly dynamic weapon for the Dux. This year, Geurink was named the Hollan Sentinal player of the year. In total, Geurink scored 13 touchdowns, stole 3 interceptions, and rushed for nearly 1000 yards. This speedster will be very missed on this team! I don't think he has any offers, but he surely deserves more college attention.

LB | Tyviea Williams | Reeths-Puffer

Ty Williams ran all over the field, making big plays and laying the wood. I watched him against Grand Rapids Union, and he was an absolute standout! After being a Running Back / Defensive Lineman his whole high school career, the new staff at RP decided to switch him to linebacker, and it worked out great! Ty was a great surprise for RP this year, and he'll be missed in 2023!

QB | [player_tooltip player_id='290737' first='Tommy' last='Stevens'] | Union

Stevens was the most electric QB in the OK-Green for two seasons, and his style of game was unlike any other. Running around, throwing well-placed bombs, and picking up miraculous first downs. Against Reeths-Puffer, he made more than enough plays to win that game. Against Mona Shores in 2021, he had an incredible 1st-half performance. Tommy will be extremely missed, and it will be interesting to see how Union's QB room looks next season.
