<p>The #2 Snowflake and #1 ALA-Gilbert North will play each other for the 4A state championship, and it's the 2nd time in three years they meet in a post season game. The only difference is this year they are both 4A schools. Snowflake won back-to-back 3A state titles in 2020 and 2021, and they'll be looking to run it back a 3rd time and bring the trophy back to northern AZ. ALA-Gilbert North was eliminated last season by Yuma Catholic, and was knocked out in the semi's by Snowflake in 2020. They've ran through pretty much everyone they've played against this year given their explosive offense and playmakers across the board, which helped them to a 8-2 regular season record (8-0 vs 4A schools). These two teams met back in week 6 this season which resulted in a 31-21 ALA-Gilbert North win. The explosiveness from [player_tooltip player_id='110157' first='Adam' last='Damante'] and [player_tooltip player_id='115533' first='Brandon' last='Phelps'] has been electric this season, as they've been a massive problem for everyone all year. Damante's true dual threat ability is a game changer alone, and when you add the multiple P5 offer, 6'3" 205lb [player_tooltip player_id='115533' first='Brandon' last='Phelps'] to that, it makes it an even bigger problem if you're trying to cook up a gameplan against this offense. </p>
