Some of the biggest risers from this past season include the following players...

OL [player_tooltip player_id='573561' first='Grant' last='Brix'] 6-6 (270) of Logan Magnolia checks in at #6 overall and the #2 ranked offensive lineman in Iowa. Brix has current offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Penn State and Tennessee among others. Great prospect with a huge upside, strong hands and can get separation and drive block. Best football is ahead of him.

TE [player_tooltip player_id='245840' first='Keaton' last='Roskop'] 6-3 (215) of Linn-Mar is the #5 ranked player overall and #1 ranked TE. Roskop is coming off a junior season which saw him catch (20) passes for (415) yards and (8) touchdowns. Great Hudl tape and really shows his athleticism making big plays downfield in the passing game. Great frame to add weight and has been timed at (4.61) in the 40-yd dash. Has visited Iowa, Iowa State, Baylor, Nebraska, North Dakota State and South Dakota State.

QB [player_tooltip player_id='248046' first='Drew' last='Kluender'] 6-2 (175) Woodbury Central. Came off the watch list and shot up to the #22 player overall and #3 ranked QB. Big junior season which saw Kluender pass for (3,419) yards and (37) touchdowns while leading the Wildcats to the state semifinal round of the playoffs. Kluender made a gameday visit to Iowa State this fall and is being pursued by other schools as well. Great prospect that can really spin the football. Good decision maker with the football and goes through his reads at a high level inside the pocket.

CB [player_tooltip player_id='248038' first='Curtis' last='Witte'] 6-1 (175) of Lewis Central was previously on the watch list and is now the #24 player overall and #2 cornerback. Helped lead the Titans to a state title in class 4A. Posted (29.0) tackles this past fall but does many of the intangibles and things that don't show up on the stat sheet to help a team win. Good work ethic and a high ceiling make Witte an excellent prospect at the next level.

LB [player_tooltip player_id='156453' first='Preston' last='Ries'] 6-2 (205) of Monticello is an Iowa Hawkeye commitment. Ries worked his way up from the #20 overall recruit to #8 and the #1 LB in this class. Riess racked up (65) tackles this fall to go along with (11) sacks and (21) TFL. Ries is a solid tackler and takes good pursuit angles to the football and will fit well in Iowa's 4-3 scheme. Ries is set to have a huge senior season.
