Welp is a big and physical kid that earned All-State Honors as a Senior for the Knights and can play a variety of positions at the next level and is more of a defensive playmaker. Offensively, he is physical with the ball in his hands and can make tough contested catches while boxing out defenders and using his size well in the open field. On defense, he flashes natural instincts and ball skills, while breaking quickly and active in run support while able to close quickly and bring a nice thump through contact.
Dilworth enters into our updated rankings and put together a very nice Senior season for Wood River. He is a big bodied outside receiver that has strong hands and under-rated speed in the open field while able to stretch the field and get over the top of safeties.
Freese enters our rankings coming off a All-Conference Honors season for Meridian and is a twitchy receiver that is quick out of his breaks and can run a variety of different routes underneath and stretch the field. He has a good sense and field awareness while able to settle in zone coverage and sneak open when his quarterback is scrambling. A no brainer D-III+ player, he can play both in the slot or the outside and tracks the ball well while able to adjust and go up and win in 50/50 ball situations.
Although undersized, Bendele is a very elusive and physical back that can do damage in-between the tackles or bounce it outside when needed with the speed to gain the edge and gain positive yards. He is a patient runner that gets vertical quickly, bounces off arm and ankle tackles while always falling forward. He shows some lateral twitch to make people miss in the hole and keeps his legs driving through contact.
