Yesterday, we told you about five of the fastest stock risers in our updated 2023 rankings. Here, in Part 2, are 5 more players who made significant leaps up the rankings:

[player_tooltip player_id='541094' first='Fabian' last='Reyna'], Deming: If Division I bound [player_tooltip player_id='138095' first='Ian' last='Ortiz'] was the defensive standout for Deming, Reyna was the offensive star as he helped Deming reach the Class 5A semifinals. Reyna was just named First-Team All-State as a wide receiver and Second-Team All-State as a running back. He holds three offers: Adams State, McPherson College and Clarke University.

[player_tooltip player_id='138061' first='Kaden' last='Sago'], Ruidoso: One of the top two-way players in Class 3A, Sago played a huge role in leading Ruidoso to the state championship in its second consecutive appearance in a title game. Sago rushed for 1,670 yards and 24 TD on offense and made 80 tackles on defense. Truly, a two-way warrior.

[player_tooltip player_id='270020' first='Ian' last='Sanchez'], La Cueva: When Exodus Ayers, arguably the top wide receiver in New Mexico at the time, left the state this past summer to attend a New England prep school, the Bears needed somebody to step up at WR. Sanchez did that and more with 98 receptions for 1,638 yards and 22 TD. All state highs. The connection between QB [player_tooltip player_id='137862' first='Aidan' last='Armenta'] and Sanchez was magical.

[player_tooltip player_id='139523' first='Nic' last='Trujillo'], Cleveland: Trujillo is going to play FBS football at New Mexico for a reason. He had a solid junior season in 2021 with 51 receptions for 906 yards and 10 TD. This past season, Trujillo took his game up about two or three levels with 57 receptions for 1,165 yards and 20 TD. Few receivers in recent memory have had a better two-year run than Trujillo, who joins teammate [player_tooltip player_id='139521' first='Evan' last='Wysong'] with the Lobos.

[player_tooltip player_id='269534' first='Ethan' last='Vanlandingham'], Hobbs: Few No. 2 receivers in the state were better than Vanlandingham. Along with junior Jeremiah Jaquez, he served as the perfect complement to [player_tooltip player_id='137921' first='Kaden' last='Trevino'], one of the state's top receivers. Hobbs had a true three-headed monster at WR this past season. Only a heartbreaking last-second loss to Volcano Vista in the quarterfinals kept them out the semifinals. Vanlandingham, who impressed at the 8Grady Elite Combine last summer, has been offered by Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Indiana.
