Quavion Cooper Quavion Cooper 5'8" | 165 lbs | RB Manchester | 2025 State GA – Wheeler
One of the breakout running backs in Cobb County, Allen is a quick, shifty back that has had his way with opposing defenses all season long as a sophomore. A true home-run threat who can score on any particular carry, Allen has plenty of speed and dangerous in the open field. He’s a natural runner who breaks a lot of tackles, and he’s lighting up the stat sheet this year. Averaging over 180 yards per game, he’s been one of the more productive backs not only in Cobb County but across the 2025 class this year. He has good size already at 5-foot-10 190-pounds and will only get stronger over time. Allen has rushed 179 times this year for an outstanding 1,620 yards, averaging just over 9 yards per carry while adding 16 touchdowns. He should see some serious D1 interest and possible offers come his way sooner than later.
Nick Woodford – Northeast
A new running back to know in Middle Georgia, the Macon native at Northeast has run through just about every defense he’s faced so far this season and has made it look easy at times. Not only is he the leading rusher in Georgia for the 2025 class, but he’s 3rd in the state in rushing across all classifications. A tough, physical runner at 5-foot-9 210-pounds, Woodford has rushed 192 times for 1,865 yards for an average of 9.7 yards per carry. In addition to his outstanding yards per carry average, he’s also been extremely consistent each week, rushing for over 233 yards per game with 29 total touchdowns. He’s been a touchdown machine all season and has found thee endzone at least once in every game. He’s rushed for at least two touchdowns in every game but one. His biggest game came against Kendrick where he rushed 17 times for 302 yards and five touchdowns. He can play at the next level, and he’s showing it as a young sophomore this season.
Triston White – Valwood
One of the most consistent backs in all of South Georgia, the Valdosta native has been one of the most dependable runners in the area this year and he’s done it as a sophomore. A back with a strong frame at 6-foot-0 195-pounds, White has rushed for over 130 yards in every game but one so far this season. He may not go up against the toughest competition, but he’s consistently one of the best players on the field when he’s out there. He can break tackles consistently and knows how to break off a long run. When he has the ball, good things happen as he’s rushed for 8.6 yards a carry so far this season. He’s rushed 127 times for an impressive 1,096 yards and has found the end-zone 12 times so far.
There’s always talent to be found at Newton, and they’ve got a young back on the roster in Zion Johnson Zion Johnson 5'9" | 175 lbs | RB Newton | 2025 State GA who is having a terrific sophomore season so far this fall. At 5-foot-9 185-pounds, Johnson is a young back with excellent vision who knows how to hit the hole hard and get upfield. He’s a natural runner who gets upfield in a hurry with enough speed to score on any particular play. He’s quick, follows his blocks well, and is running better and better each week. He dominated over the weekend against South Gwinnett, rushing 28 times for 316 yards and two touchdowns. One he gets to the edge, he has the breakaway speed to break off a long run. He’s a dangerous weapon in the return game as well, showing his versatility and big-play ability. Through his first nine games, Johnson has rushed 141 times for 1,066 yards and six touchdowns. He’s already looking like an easy D1 prospect and one of the top 2025 backs in Georgia.
