He did a great job of containment and running down plays on the outside and was also used frequently as a blitzer. He has good acceleration and is does a good job of avoiding blocks. He had several tackles and a sack on the evening.

2023 RB [player_tooltip player_id='92614' first='CJ' last='Hester'] 5'11 190- Hester is a really talented back. He shows great vision and patience as he runs. He does a great job of using his blockers and setting up his blocks to create running lanes. He's elusive in the open field and the speed to take it the distance. Though Taft did a good job of bottling him up, he never got discouraged and kept fighting until he eventually broke a long 50+ yard touchdown run that ended up the game winner.

2023 DT [player_tooltip player_id='521309' first='Joel' last='Allen'] 6'1 270- Allen did a great job all night of getting penetration and disrupting the offense. He plays with good leverage. During his rush, he does a good job of keeping his head up so as to disengage and make plays.

2024 DE [player_tooltip player_id='284547' first='Elias' last='Rudolph'] 6'4 220- Rudolph is a long physical specimen. He has a good get off and gets upfield in a hurry. He's big and athletic enough that he can play with his hand in the dirt or in a stand up position.

2023 DE [player_tooltip player_id='380243' first='Lance' last='Byndon'] 6'3 235- Byndon is a physical presence. He plays with heavy hands and brings a little nasty to the game. I'd project Byndon as a strong side defensive end at the college level. He has the the twitch and athleticism to be developed into a higher end pass rusher as well. His offer from Purdue was no fluke.

2024 DB Jay'Quan Bostic 6'3 180- Bostic is a long athlete who plays safety for the Senators. I saw Bostick in the summer, and he's come a long ways in his technique and fluidity as a defensive back. He can cover a massive amount of ground in a short amount of time. With continued development of technique Bostic's ceiling is very high!

2023 LB [player_tooltip player_id='521317' first='Ronald' last='Cutts'] 6'1 217- Cutts is an athletic linebacker who likes to run and hit. He plays downhill.
2023 RB [player_tooltip player_id='521310' first='Charles' last='Hawkins'] 5'11 205- I was really impressed with Hawkins. He's a big powerful running back with the moves to make people miss. Because of the pursuit of the Cowboys defense there wasn't a lot of room in yards to be had. That being said, Hawkins did a great job of fighting for every yard that was there.

2024 DB [player_tooltip player_id='521312' first='Tayshawn' last='Banks'] 6'0 170- Banks was flying around all night. There wasn't much to be done in the passing game due to the cold and wind, but banks showed an ability to come up and be physical in the run game. He's a long athlete with good hips and feet. It's easy to see why he's getting D1 attention.
